1. Grow all your own fruit. 2. Always age nectar in the rack in a basement. 3. Only sell to Roberto. 4. Make. Millions. You really went about this the hard way. You've got to age the nectar for it to have any real value. Selling it the day you make it is like pissing money down the drain. The prairie grass lot challenge exists specifically for nectar making Sims to have constant harvestables for beer.
I'm playing a spellcaster couple who are making their fortune by running a nectar shop. Once you get a finely aged excellent quality Vitality Nectar and a spellcaster who can cast Copypasto, you're printing money. The day before their baby was born, they sold four bottles and made 120,000 simoleons. The nursery is deluxe
If you talk to Crinkletop, he'll tell you he hangs out in front of the mercantile Mon, Wed, and Fri at high noon. FYI, it's not a bug, you cannot invite Crinkletop anywhere. He's the mysterious rancher that no one knows where he lives and he doesn't seem to age.
It bugs me so much watching sims crush grapes with their feet straight out of their shoes, not even changing into work clothes for crushing potentially staining their clothes lol
The easiest and cheapest way to get ingredients for nectar-making is to buy and open seed packets. Starter Fruits usually gives apples and grapes as does the seasonal fall and spring plants. The skill is only 5 levels but it's not a quick skill to build and you need to be in an energized mood to build it.
I have get together so i made a group that had a nectar making skill boost and sent my sim to classes in addition to using the machine. She seemed to learn faster at the class. I liked her going to the class on occasion because she wasn’t constantly stopping (ie needing to fill the container/clean the machine/ shower from being dirty) while learning skill.
I absolutely agree that the nectar was kind of a weird pick for this horse ranch pack, I would have picked a world that was more like a vineyard theme.
The areas they based the world on do have wineries, so I think it’s fine. I think they wanted an activity for people who don’t necessarily wanna deal with horses or the goats/sheep. Kinda like how cottage living has the canning.
Do you need to age the nectar by putting them in the special nectar racks, and putting those racks in the basement. After three days or so the price goes up immensely. Not aging them and just selling them right away is throwing away tons of cash.
OMG GELLI BAFF!!!!!!!!! My daughter had it when she was a toddler!!!! She’s 12 now. Thank you for unlocking this memory. Ima check if they still have it for my niece. Fuck the bath plumbing lol
What do you mean you don't build the basement? Where else would you keep your prisoners... I mean workers.. neighbors? 😂 Wine, definitely wine. Jokes aside, I actually like to have small basement in my builds if affordable. It's just realistic for me 😂
So I’m doing a rags to riches using the nectar skill. Since my sim is OTG and poor poor, I built just a 2 by 1 hole and put the bottles in there myself to age it
To clarify, put your nectar storage racks in the hole. You can right click on the rack and click open to put bottles in and out and move to your sims inventory. Also, put a roof over your plants so they are sheltered
I took my knowledge from The Sims 3 and let it age. I made the million way before making 50 excellent bottles :D And I made like 3 bottles a week and always sold when finely aged and got luxurious mansion in a few weeks. My sim had 2 jobs as well and was painitng later, but yeah. Grew all food in micro home and it got good quality early too.
Definitely one of the most OPed ways to make money in the game, especially if you sell the bottles in a retail store where you can mark up the price. Add the Marketable trait to get a boost too. That Vitality nectar is crazy expensive. I think I sold one bottle for over $60K. My sims run a nectar shop and sell about 6-8 bottles every day--they make $50K on a slow day. I wish they'd done it more like Sims 3 where you can do different fruit combinations to find good recipes--where some are really good and others are terrible--but, at this point, I'm not surprised EA made it so basic.
27:37 Don’t worry about Roberto. EA altered Mrs. Crumplebottom’s story so her husband just disappeared, at least that’s the implication in one of their trailors, so according to that, he abandoned his either pregnant wife or wife who recently miscarried (or maybe they were just trying for a baby), so he’s . . . like that. I don’t know. I’ve not looked too deeply into her history and less into his, but that is what the implication is that he is Mrs. Crumplebottom’s “dead” husband. And now they both are never dying.
Well, when Whiny is struggling, there's so many things around the lot that aren't necessary. Sell some stuff, build a cellar, build a greenhouse, get rid of a few plants, and move them to the greenhouse, if necessary. She will then have a non-stop supply of ingredients because the plants won't be affected by the seasons. The trash fruit plant can be left outside because it's not affected by seasons, and she will have enough money to thrive. Poor Whiny, she gets so overwhelmed when the solution is right in front of her. But isn't that everyone? LOL.
Aging the wine in a basement speeds up the process, build a small basement with a ladder and you'll have aged wine in no time😂WhineyBrit u gotta go all the way out and make it easier for u
Wait until the nector is finished aging, finely aged, then you can do the Strawberry one and 1 bottle is $5000. Make sure theyre all finely aged and youll get the most money. Its how i became a millionaire quickly.
The funniest thing about making the nectar, is the sims jump up and land on their bum to assist with the crushing process. Not very hygienic? If you ask me. But maybe it helps with the fermenting process? LOL.
I don’t think we had Jelly Bath. We were too busy inhaling Kinder Eggs so fast we choked on the toy and got them banned. Probably didn’t want to risk us eating it. 🇺🇸
Well, that's the Sims 4 creators, for yeah. Create a bunch of junk, and then don't give it any reason for it to be used. Especially some of the abilities. Like the ability of doctors to diagnose the gender of the pregnant sim's baby. It can only be used at work. So, I have to wait for a pregnant sim to come to the hospital while in labor to use this ability. And what woman is going to care about their baby's gender while in labor? LOL.
Although this video was entertaining (as all your videos are) - it was also incredibly frustrating watching you try to figure out how to make the most money off nectar - simply because you didn't utilize the in game mechanics to learn more about Roberto and nectar from the board, and by talking to him yourself.

This is a nice FYI but I think she was just trying it out and seeing how it goes on her own. Now she’ll probably know better lol
Do u need to put the rack in the basement?😊
Selling on the City Living table makes more than selling to Roberto does, if you have the pack.
@@casebycase_904 only if you want it to age faster
Omg ty for sharing!

Wow!!
You can sell 1 bottle of vitality nectar for about 100,000 if it's made from perfect quality plants
I mccommand him over everytime lol
Don't forget about the occult nectar!
Vampire, Werewolf & Spellcaster nectars can only be made by their occults but drank by anyone. Check it out.
That's really cool
Sounds cool.
had no idea, thanks a lot!
It bugs me so much watching sims crush grapes with their feet straight out of their shoes, not even changing into work clothes for crushing potentially staining their clothes lol
Falling on their rumps in their nice clean pyjamas!
Loads of cash when it's aged and the Vitality is ridiculous I got 100k for a bottle of that
Well yeah it is liquid ambrosia. That's going to cost a lot.

I curated a full collection of aged nectar then sold it all for $675,000 simoleons. Way too easy lol
A 40+ minute video from my favorite youtuber? It must be a blue moon. Oh wait, it is 😊
❤

Kinda like how cottage living has the canning.
Honestly, I feel like nectar making would have been better with country living expansion
ranching often does include this type of wine making!!! it's a lot more common in the south/deep south than you'd think :>
I'm so glad I don't have to deal with seasons, makes gardening so much easier to be able to grow everything all year round
Don't forget to up the percentage to 300% on the sales table at a wine yard sale once your wine is fully aged! 60k at one sale once. 😂
i think nectar making would've been best in the wedding pack
Thank goodness it wasn't because it actually works
I love the little emotional support dust bunny (I think?) hanging out most of the video 😭😭😭 I really want the ranch pack!!!

Hi!! Roberto only buys to higher prices on some specific weekdays. You should see a notification when he's ready to buy.
Love your videos🎉
Crincletop is only around a few times a week, but the store buys it off you at a higher price too
The sim is GORGEOUS she looks like Penélope Cruz I love her
Probably could make a reasonable amount selling it in a retail shop, too, with the markups. This looks fun tho

I make a ton of money on nectar. Let it age, then sell on a table in your yard. You can mark up the prices, and the people come to you!
Monday , Wednesday, Friday at High Noon, Sell Nector at the store.
Which store? The guy?
What do you mean you don't build the basement? Where else would you keep your prisoners... I mean workers.. neighbors? 😂 Wine, definitely wine.

Not sure why you cant invite Roberto over but the community board willl tell you when you can find him
Roberto is by the store monday wednesday and friday around noon
OMG jelly bath! The nostalgia of allergic reactions and ruined bathtubs:)
Btw Roberto is Agnes’ late husband (faked his death)
Strong disagree. Roberto left Agnes so she told everyone he was dead.
@@HannahJo32 Do we have proof of that in the game? Based on what Plumbella covered in her video he faked his death.
Help that makes sense you can make nectar out of trash fruit, but you can’t make nectar with a dirty a$$ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
12:22 It's not because low hygiëne perse that your nectar quality was low; it's what happens with low needs.
Hilarious as always and especially loving the longer video!
Thank you for introducing me to where I can find mods! I've loved my games so much more!
Yall she uploaded just so I could comment she's so sweet ❤
I'm obsessed with your commentary!
Kinda common sense that if you make wine (smash grapes with your feet) while you are dirty that your wine will be gross.
Surprising considering its sims 4 lol
Unexpected realism, almost unlike The Sims 4 😂
You should do how much can u make by selling horse poop 😂
So I’m doing a rags to riches using the nectar skill. Since my sim is OTG and poor poor, I built just a 2 by 1 hole and put the bottles in there myself to age it

Roberto likes his women how he likes his wine, aged lmao But also that's a good thing he likes people his age.
