A lot of people bypass Athens for the islands and hotspots but it’s a cool happening city and encourage people to explore it.

well yeah because June July August baking hot, islands will be the first choice, I think for tourists is best September April, when weather is still good temps and sunny, and also Autum, when it way cooler..
