One time my daughters teacher refused to open her gift. My daughter said to me, that she open all the other gifts but not mine. I asked why? Because the wrapping was so gorgeous. Lol 😂 I love gift wrapping it makes the gift 💯 better

My mom wraps gifts so beautifully the department store she worked in many years ago used to reassign her from sales to the gift wrap station every Christmas. I unfortunately did not inherit the ‘gift wrap chromosome’. My family always says they don’t need gift tags to identify gifts from me-they just see the massive amount of tape and the wonky bows and know who the gifter was! If the wrapping paper is too sheer, I line it with a couple layers of tissue paper underneath. Beautifully wrapped presents!

I hot glue bells and small pine cones right on the bow . It looks so nice… got the idea from a lovely store call Peddler’s Wagon in Eustis FL near Mount Dora ( my favorite small town !) If you’re in the area it’s the loveliest store especially for holidays. They always serve appetizers and a little refreshments while you shop
Gift cards can be lots of fun! Hubs and I have set a day that we go to all the shops we have gift cards for… and spend the day together enjoying spending them!

And at 19:12 - you should save those white packets. You can toss them in your drawers, clothing storage, into your wrapping paper for next year. They keep moisture away, I repurpose them all the time

Yes wrapping is fun! Good idea to put some candy in the same box as the gift card. I guess you just need to be sure not to place it near the fire so it melts. 😊 Lovely gifts and wrapping!

I really enjoyed this video. Both your gifts and your gift wrapping were exquisite. I used to enjoy creating beautifully wrapped gifts and then for some reason I stopped and just wrapped and threw bows on them. You have now inspired me to do better again. Pro wrapping tip for you: use a white out tape runner instead of a pen to mark out prices. It’s more discreet and looks way more polished! 😘

Awwww I love that tender moment you had in the rain, soooo sweet! Oh and that brown and beigy ribbon just made the wrapping look even more special. Thanks guys, off to my local haberdashery for some ribbons and local store for tiny gift ornaments (never done that). I actually never wrapped presents for years as I'd hate to see presents ripped open and all the waste of the paper stuffed in the bin. But then, recycling became a thing so I started wrapping again. Our local stores also wrap gifts for you so if you're a bit pushed for time it really helps. But after this..I want to do it all myself. Thanks guys! Happy weekend 💖✨️

Well Hello Valentina, I just love waking up on a Saturday morning with my first coffee of the day and getting inspired by You even though we’re not doing the whole Christmas thing this year I still love watching what everyone else is doing, keeping it in mind for next year when hopefully we have something to celebrate, it’s been a heartbreaking year of loss and illnesses within my family and this year we are going out for Christmas lunch and I’m letting someone else do all the work that I normally do on my own 😅, my hubby’s health is failing him and he has to keep himself immobilised, so my plan for the holidays is to tie him to his office chair and go through containers full of HIS STUFF and clean it all out Lol 😂, sounds exciting I know, but if you knew my hubby this is one task I’m really looking forward to, he has that much Stuff up in his office cupboards that if I really wanted to I could throw it all out and he would never know Lol 😝, but I’d never do that….I’m going to try and make it a Fun experience for him 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤭🤭, I’m not doing it on Christmas Day, maybe the day after Christmas and before 2023, I want to start the New Year off with some New Beginnings for both of us. I just purchased two faux fur throws form Marshalls one was by Rachel Zoe the other by Nicole Miller in the store they felt soft so I brought them home and in a couple of days donated them. They were awful shedding on my clothes my sofa, terrible quality. I’m stock that both designers would put out such cheap throws. Cause we all know they don’t have these in their homes. Wondering if your faux fur throws shed. I have heard you say at times look at me I have fur all over me.
