Nice haul. Sucks about all the crap that happened out there. Nice you didn't get a ticket. Definitely true about watching your pots. I left a crab pot out and commercial guys pulled it as soon as I left and took the bait. 👍
Thanks! yah you see the guys in that commercial looking boat, every were I set they would throw their pots on my pots, I don't know what the deal was but they hooked up with every pot of mine. They had no shrimp in there pots that I could see and they were close to me every time pulling. Did you do any shrimping?🦐
@@dansSawfish5604 No I wanted to go to foulweather bluff for lings and i didn't know it was a shrimp day. There was no where to park so I couln't get out. Just one of the 4 days of bad luck I've had in the past 2 weeks.
Hey Dan, it’s Casey. Nice meeting you out on the water today! Your videos are great. Keep cranking them out and I’ll keep watching. Hope to see ya out there again!
Casey nice meeting you as well! how did you do out there, I herd it was a little slow that evening but you never know that's fishing. just keep at it you were in a good area try to keep that line straight down, I know it tough to do a little back troll with the outboard really helps. Thanks for watching & commenting. 🦐🎣
Cans of cat food, you want the first ingredients fish and second ingredients fish byproducts, the fishiest cat food you can find. Thanks for watching & commenting🦐🎣
I was gonna say, 8-2 wasn't open, but I read the full description. Nice job, so many shrimp out there it's a shame we can't fish them . One day in 8-1 / 8-2, crazy. Resident coho just opened in 9, do you ever fish them?
Problem is no weight in your pots and floating poly rope. They’ll likely float off with that setup. Need 20~30 lbs and leaded line with the wire pots. Those pots weigh nothing. Leaded line will prevent other boats from catching your pots. Lost pots keep fishing for years and years. Thats a lot lot of dead shrimp. Throw a brick in there at least. And they’ll fish better when they aren’t bouncing all around the bottom👍
I've had these pots for over 30 years never lost a pot yet, this hole they can't drift out of, I clip on lead on the rope I've never have problems only when people put their pots on top of them. Or when they pick their pots up and run east or west catching every ones pot out there. And my pots are not the puny lightweight pots. If I put 20 or 30 lbs I'll call you to pull my pots by hand then. I've never had problems before! It's just the newbies like the fisheries said. Thanks for commenting🦐🎣.

@@dansSawfish5604 Thanks for the tips! I didn’t have much luck, but that’s ok. I’ll keep going at it! I’ll see ya out there!
I’m confused. Was shrimping open on 5/30? I can’t keep up with wdfw website. They make it tricky to look up basic stuff
Yes it was only 8-2 area open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. I think they do that on prepose to confuses the public.
