i'm going through a tough time right now, and i relate deeply to this song. I feel like when shes says "you're my blue" she's saying that that person will always make her heart hurt and mourn for them. That even if there were beautiful memories, they will make her wish she could go back in time or do better and consequently be sad for taking what she had for granted perhaps... When people mention "love" that person will always pop up in her mind and even if she was once happy, she will always feel sad at the though of them and the memories.

A couple of months ago, my best friend was super sick. She was having surgery while we all waited in the waiting room. I was so devastated my heart was absolute broken, did not wanted to listen to anybody and this was the only song that I could listen to. I spent the three hours with this song on repeat.

Damn. This song is something. The moment I heard the first line, my heart just sank, didn’t understand what she was singing, but the sound was just full of sorrow. The fact that her vocals can show so much emotion is just insane.

I don't know about Taeyeon well, nor do I know about Shinee well and hence didn't know about Jonghyun well either, except for his passing. But while reading about the passing, I got to know they were best friends. I can just tell this song is for him. When I heard this song, I didn't need to go into details about the meaning, I still don't and I may be incorrect, but I just know it's about him, and I don't know why but I can just feel it. It seems I'm not the only one who can feel it.
