      Ya i agree! Im guessing a quality machine tool like that is at minimum 60k!!! Is your next project a cover for the belt and for the tool changer? Id be afraid chips would get places that they shouldn't!! Man what a BEAUTIFUL MACHINE!!!!!!

    This is awesome! I’m currently working on a stand for my hot-rolled steel CNC mill lol. I have to move my mill to the basement from the garage so I need to make an enclosure too. It’s below freezing in the garage (or hot during the summer) which isn’t very good in terms of rust or keeping the electronics healthy.

    Replace the windows with SOLID POLYCARBONATE. It withstands impact and will not break like a stalk. All metal cutting machines and test benches are equipped with one. 4 mm. are thick enough. My machine has them.

    Nice video! To have a better view through the windows when using coolant, you might add a rotary viewport. Or, even simpler, use the solution haas haas on their vf2s: just a pipe on the door where you can stick in your airblow pistol. the pipe goes through the doors and is directed at the window from the inside. When you blow air through it from the outside, this air gets directed at the window and blows it clean of any coolant.

    Good job mate, really. Have you got any videos from the epoxy casting process. Its hard to get good info on that and it seems you nailed it. I'm interested in doing something similar but half the size. I got your cad from grabcad and will see how scaling it down would work, but I need a lot more info before I dive in as this will be a big project with some serious $$$$ investment.

    • @Svanitterzon
      @Svanitterzon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a protection foil on the outside. Which prevent the glas from flying around. This foil also make glas more protective you should not even be able to smash tough it with a hammer. (Not tested😅)

      @@Svanitterzon just makes me nervous for you when you say glass. i dont own a machine with glass in it and i can recall a few times id probably be dead if i did. my machines have safety windows, hammer blows are more likely to deform the window, not safety glass that keeps the pieces together. just looking out, sometimes we can be to smart for our own good. anyway, great job and good luck.
