What confused people was that the middle SKU went on early bird sale for the cheapest SKU price, and then sold for a few weeks at the regular middle SKU price. But all three SKU's will eventually go on sale.
I bought it to start learning about windows handheld pc. I already had a steam deck and in Puerto Rico, a Rog Ally used its $450-500 and new, $650-750 with shipping and taxes. That's why I'm getting it.
Looks ace, I've been having an amazing time with mine. FYI for anyone curious about JELOS performance, BotW will go 45fps-50fps (running around outside) if you don't mind higher TDP's. It'll do 40fps-45fps on 15w TDP.
It looks great in black. I wanted to get a windows portable for my epic games collection. It’s either the z1 rog or this. I’m leaning on this so Far ! Good video thank u!
Hello! Is it possible to connect this console to a TV? Is there a bypass charging mode? Is it worth overpaying for a more powerful version or, if you take it, then the youngest one, since at the price of the older model it’s better to look towards Steam Deck?
You can connect to a TV/monitor, yes. Bypass charging, I've never used it, but I think all windows devices can use "Smart charging". Depends on the price of a steam deck where you are, and whether you are going to swap the SSD out or not. If you are just going to use the 512gb SSD it comes with, the 4800u is only $50 more. It'll make a difference of a few FPS on harder to run games, but don't expect it to be a massive improvement.
I personally love the design, and I just ordered one today for my kids, who've taken an interest in the ROG Ally I play often - yeah, not letting those hands touch my Ally Z1E lol. the small form factor of the Next Lite and good power efficiency seemed perfect for the less-demanding titles my kids are into, like fall guys, oddworld, goat sim 3, etc. Was planning on setting up Playnite as a front end so it can also launch emulators without much fuss and be easy to navigate for my kids. Anyone suggest anything different?
FYI, the Next Lite will sell for $300.
It's -
$300 - 4500u - 128gb - March/April
$350 - 4500u - 512gb - March/April
$400 - 4800u - 512gb - April
Thanks! Pinned so everyone can see the proper prices.
are you sure ?

Looks like an interesting choice in this price bracket. Great review and nice selection of games!
Thanks Regs! ❤️

Fantastic review, my friend. Seems nice for the price! Although yes, "just get a Steam Deck, bruh". 😂🎉 Stubbs
Thank you! ❤️ I'm pretty sure that's what the kids say.

Is the screen 16:10 like the Ayaneo 2 and geek or 16:9?
It’s a 16:10 screen.
My Pimax portal plays Genshin at 60 fps with the graphics high. That's strange I haven't played Genshin yet on my next.
Absolutely LOVE my pimax. You don't see too many people with them out there!!
with a 4TB ssd why didnt you partition 1TB or so for Jelos?
Ei guys, wuy is better? 54500u for $359 or 74800u for $499?
Hi, a question: how do I enter the bios and start Batocera? Thank you
I don’t remember the exact method, but you need to connect an external keyboard. Sadly there isn’t a button combination like most other handhelds.
Can you play Genshin impact on high settings with 60 fps gameplay? I’m looking forward for this devise on a budget.
Yes you can
I want to play single player first person and third person pc games of the ps 4 era. Is the 4800u ok for me? Pls someone respond

The Ryzen 7 4800 U version is selling at Best buy. Will you be making any of the videos you said you would?
$499 for a 4TB device is a good deal. Steam Deck is like $649 for 1TB.
You don't go base on TB to buy a handheld console.
Cpu and ram is more important.
Storage is upgradable
😱at high tdp it's a BEAST"
I'm not interested in this device but it's a great review never the less 😊 thanks!
I would get this over a steam deck just for the fact that it can play genshin Impact without having to go through multiple loops
Great review! I did not know about the lack of an SD card slot, that's an instant pass for me. C'mon!
Thanks! I don't get why they decided to exclude an SD Card slot.
Not bad for a cheap device running new games 😮
I love mine
Please Test Mortal Kombat 1 And Tekken 8, Thanks

Pokémon called they want their game back 🧐
My favorite meme right now is from the original Iron Man but it's Nintendo yelling at Game Freak about Pokemon.

Take those internals and shove it into a Loki zero
That would be a great handheld.
Radeon: ray-dee-awn, not ray-don.
Dunno man, gameplay showcase is too short.
Doing more gameplay in future videos.

Steam Deck 30-60FPS
Aya Neo Next Lite 18-20FPS
are you ok play 20fps low game? = $3xx loss + $2xx m.2ssd
Actually, it beats the Steam Deck for emulation (it has a stronger CPU), and isn't that far behind for PC gaming.
Great video on a very meh device.
So windows
