In the past few days, I have been listening to only this sonata with various performers in order to find a good violinist, and I unexpectedly found a good pianist. This was very fortunate.

Прослушав здесь Крейцерову сонату сто раз поняла, что эта музыка меня может примирить с изоляцией, она дает все, что мне необходимо как для индивидуума. Красоту, правильные размышения, пищу уму, восторг сердцу, яркие впечатления, необходимый отдых и душевное спокойствие. Вариации и финал особенно хороши. Получается что мой карантин проходит под лозунгом 'Даешь Луганского!' Николаю здоровья и легкости:)

I don't play violin, so i don't know how hard the violin part is (sure sounds tough, though!) -- but the piano part is probably close to the Appassionata or Waldstein Sonatas in terms of difficulty. Brilliantly played by both.
It's even harder than the above mentioned sonatas
I think that, regarding the mechanical part of the piano technic, it's the most challenging piano piece of Beethoven's music.
@@UnaMoscaEnLaParedAre you sure? Hammerklavier is still far more difficult - Kreutzer still remains difficult, but it can really be compared to appassionata difficulty.
Edit: just checked with my teacher, she says it’s the same difficulty as appassionata
Very impressive! The piano is brighter than a violin in this duet. I love this Sonata, love listening and comparing it in different duets, quartets etc. And the piano man is just great here. For 🎻 it is also good and should be compared to D. Oistrah and Renaud Capucon.

This is an impressively stable performance. It remains unclear whether the Kreutzer sonata has other qualities in store than rock - like assurance.

Because from the beginning until that point his playing has been so unclean it is incredible for such a violinist. And it does not get better just afterwards. Lugansky is as usual at his best, but Repin is under the water. Then it gets better... a little bit.

Repin al principio de su ejecución cometió una pifia en una entrada semi-grave muy imperceptible,necesita un oído musical bien fino para captarlo,pero somos hombres nada humano me he ajeno,como dijo,terencio,en mi concepto,es el más aventajado violinista de los últimos 60 años,esta generación tienes muy buenos violinistas,pelman,joshua bell,maxim vengerov,pinjas suckerman,Sergey krylov y tedi papavrami,por ejemplo.

It's a nice sonata, but always felt the part of 6:35-to approx 7:02 completely overshadows the rest. So much that the music around that part sometimes feels as mere noise.
When Repin won the Queen Elisabeth competition at the tender age of 17, he looked very, very promising. It doesn't look like het met the expectations. At every "corner", mistakes (intonation, bad bowing, unstable rhythm, loudness issues) lurk. Not really a joy to listen to.
