Since I just got this (because of your unboxing) I will play the same scenario and will compare our results. Of course, this is once I finish my D-Day game.
Great playthrough! Fresh and on the point all the time. I just saw, that you have a Mr. President playthrough also. 👍👍👍 But I have one horrible suspicion. Going through the paragraph "Die Roll Orders" at the end of page 13 in the rulebook, I think the player only rolls 1 die per region and all the allied forces of the region follow this one die roll. Thanks again for the video and I am looking forward to your lesson, how to run the Oval Office.
Have this game, but haven't played it in a while. Keep up the good work. I really enjoyed your RAF play through. IMHO, that's the best solitaire ever. You might try Field Commander Napoleon. It is also very good
Gespensterdivision! Aside from the Eastern Front, Rommel interests me as well. I was hoping to see you put this game into action because it covers all 3 campaigns that he was part of. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next video!
Just purchased Roommel. Watching your video made it very easy to learn. Definitely a fun game. All three scenarios. 😃 Keep up the good work. Rommel with 3 games is a bargain for the price.
Hi! Thank you very much for this video. Thanks to this I have managed to quickly learn the rules of the game. But just warn you that in the "Allied Orders" phase you roll a die several times: you roll the die for each of the units located in each region that are not in an objective area... but I think that is a mistake ...as I understand the rules, the die is rolled only once for each region and that same result (applying the modifiers, of course) is the one used for all units in that region that are not in a objective area . I'm not an expert because I just purchased the game, but at least that's how I understand what it says in the rules... Then I wanted to ask you a question: in the table for the dice roll for the result of 4 it says: Objective. Objective (-1 supply)... I don't understand why it says the word "Objective" twice or what the -1 supply means... can you explain to me, please? Greetings from Spain!
Hi David, thanks for the comment. To be honest, it's been 3 years since I've played it so I'm a little rusty on the rules. There is a FAQ on BGG that answered questions on play which I recommend checking out.
Thank you for a well presented playthrough. Not much Blitz in this Kreig so I must give this one a polite pass. Cant quite understand why units with a total of 11 factors must retreat facing a unit with only one factor.
Very nice report! You started a little unlucky in the first battle. I bought the game and it arrived yesterday and seems to be the right game for me. Solitary, small maps and rather quick to play! I can´t see any advantage with the "Ambush battleplan". To to roll first an advantage as battles are always simultaneos? Do I see something wrong? I would use "Overrun" when attacking. Give a lot of firepower and same price as "Digging in". How is still the motto of the german panzergrenadiers: "Ran-drauf- drüber!" ="Get them-go in-over them" Awaiting next report. All the best Kalle
Hi Kalle. Thank you for the kind comment. As to Ambush, I too, can't see any real advantage except for 'flavour'. I may be wrong of course and missed something in the rules (maybe house rule that if ambushed forces are destroyed they are removed before the Axis have their attack - they were ambushed after all!) I daresay someone will put us right on here!
Any damage that is inflicted by the Ambush battle plan is done immediately, so if any of your Axis forces are damaged they will attack back with poorer stats. Cheers

RSW thank you very much for making these game videos. I really enjoy watching them. Much appreciated mate.
Thanks Jas - really appreciate it! 👍🙂
Just bought my first board game and watched this video. Absolutely excellent and will recommend on my channel.
Thank you WW! 👍
I really enjoyed that.
Like the presentation, no nonsense, just Ricky Royale style playthrough.
Thank you Uncle Timo! :)
@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer more than welcome.
I’ve been curious about this game! Thanks for the excellent video showing the game.
Thank you Tom, as always. :)
Hi, I just played the first round with your video so thank you very much for your help with this great boardgame!
Thank you Tomas - glad it helped! :)

Hi Tony, I'll look forward to that (enjoying your D-Day playthrough).
Again a good playtrhough must get mine on the table now
Thank you Albert!

Hi Kris, Thanks for the kind comment. RAF is a great game. I'll keep my eye open for FCN. :)

Hi steelerfan 1933 - thank you! Stay tuned because I've got a couple of older Eastern Front games to unbox in the near future.
Just purchased Roommel.
Watching your video made it very easy to learn.

Hello, enjoy your teaching videos. How do battle plan point compare with battle plans?
great demonstration.....
Thank you Fred! :)

This scenario is extraordinarily difficult to win. As the first scenario you would think it would be a little easier than the others. It isn’t.
You're not wrong, Kubla Khan!
How is it that you don't use the Allied move value?
Interesting game. Look forward to Ep2. Would love to see you play “Battle of the Bulge : WW2 Commander”. 2 Player Area Control game but solo’s fine.
Hi Kili121416, thanks for the kind comment. I'll keep a look out for the game.
your instruction is so great....Will you ever do one for the d-day map?
Hi Fred and thank you for the kind comment. I hope to replay this game sometime in the future and when I do, I'll play D-Day! :)

Hi Michael, I was a tad unlucky with my throws but I respect your views. Thank you for your kind comment though and for watching. :)
Nice. It looks like the AI did a better job than the allied military leaders in 1940. :D :P
It certainly did!! lol :)

34 VP for victory on the second turn. Is that even possible? O.o
Lol - I'd say no Hannah!! 😊
