The story of this MV is that Jin is from outer world, and while traveling through the universe landed on Earth due to a broken spaceship. He was living on Earth waiting for his spaceship to be fixed so he can return to space. In the meantime he meets and creates a valuable relationship with the little girl (Army), who teaches him things, and in return, he helps Army to ride her bike (and be on her own). When his people finally come to get him on Earth, he excitedly runs and bicycles to the spaceship. Then, he realizes at the end that instead of returning to space, he wants to stay on Earth to be with his Army.💜
i am sure that little girl represents both ARMYs and BTS, in the mv he taught her how to ride a bicycle by her own so that she'll be fine when he is gone just like he raised the other members, saw them growing up and made sure ARMYs are happy

tbh, storyline hits so much harder when we think about seokjin and how he joined bts. he never meant to be a singer, he wanted to be an actor just like how the astronaut in the mv never meant to land on earth. but then somehow jin (the alien who finally smiled at the end) found bts, and found armys (the little girl represented both bts and armys and how jin raised us to be on our own before he "leaves" for a while). he had found his family on earth, and passion and now we are home to him. and the ending when u hear the bicycle bell rings after he had completed the crossword (as he was stuck in the beginning of the mv bc he didnt know what this whole thing meant to him at first, the bell rang by the little girl who had waited for him to come home aka us waiting for him to come back from military) *crying as we speak since the release*

On his journey and throughout the mv Jin doesn't smile much, he wonders aimlessly, people pass by him, and no attention is given to him. On the way there are many stop signs (a sign he should turn back). While riding the bike he is remising the memories he has made with the little girl, the happy times and the love. Once he gets to the ship he has an epiphany that he doesn't want to leave. He has found his little heaven on earth, a family, someone waiting for him. On the way back he smiles. Finally, he is back doing the crossword is finally able to finish it with the word family. He smiles for the 3rd time when he hears the bell. The whole MV is Jins goodbye or see you soon. He is telling army that while he may be gone, he is going to come back and will cherish the memories until then.

They can’t say it, but you can see the pain, hurt, sadness & fear in their eyes. I feel heartbroken & I hope they’ll be protected in there at all costs. As what I read somewhere, Jin, here plays an extraterrestrial being in the video. He crash-landed on earth after traveling in space for a while and was supposed to return to his planet. But when his ship finally came to take him, he decided to stay back for the people and the precious things he grew to love on earth

I love LOVE the deeper tone of his voice here, the melody is great. The MV is so visually stunning, I felt like it was a movie and was left feeling so emotional at the end.

tbh, storyline hits so much harder when we think about seokjin and how he joined bts. he never meant to be a singer, he wanted to be an actor just like how the astronaut in the mv never meant to land on earth.
but then somehow jin (the alien who finally smiled at the end) found bts, and found armys (the little girl represented both bts and armys and how jin raised us to be on our own before he "leaves" for a while). he had found his family on earth, and passion and now we are home to him.
and the ending when u hear the bicycle bell rings after he had completed the crossword (as he was stuck in the beginning of the mv bc he didnt know what this whole thing meant to him at first, the bell rang by the little girl who had waited for him to come home aka us waiting for him to come back from military)

Why do I really want this MV to be made into a movie starring BTS?
The story of the mv is that Jin is from another planet and has crash landed on earth. While waiting for the day he can return he spends time on earth. He is doing a crossword in the beginning but in unable to finish it. The room has pictures that little girl drew. Also, chris martin was the news anchor haha. He builds a connection with the little girl (army or members). He teaches her to ride a bike and smiles when he sees that she will be okay on her own when he leaves. He sees the light and is eager to return to his planet. He gives his helmet to the little girl. On his journey and throughout the mv Jin doesn't smile much, he wonders aimlessly, people pass by him, and no attention is given to him. On the way there are many stop signs (a sign he should turn back). While riding the bike he is remising the memories he has made with the little girl, the happy times and the love. Once he gets to the ship he has an epiphany that he doesn't want to leave. He has found his little heaven on earth, a family, someone waiting for him. On the way back he smiles. Finally, he is back doing the crossword is finally able to finish it with the word family. He smiles for the 3rd time when he hears the bell. The whole MV is Jins goodbye or see you soon. He is telling army that while he may be gone, he is going to come back and will cherish the memories until then.
