The Stanford band play is the most wildest American football play I've seen. I can't imagine how crazy it was with players and students running around during a live play
10:40 I remember the call because I was watching the game. It was a gigantic upset, RIP Mike Leach. "Crabtree! Pulls free! And,. touchdown, Red Raiders, with a second to go! . . . The fans have stormed the field! They gotta clear this field!"
15:33, while you said that one wasn't that impressive, it is the context of the game that is important. That was USC vs. Texas in the 2006 National Championship Game. That play won Texas the championship of college football.
When you said you were at the Kick 6 game you got me to sub. That game was nuts!! I loved every second of it! That was one of the worst calls of Saban. He had a chance to just let 1 second go and do OT but he chose to take a chance at a 60yd+ FG. I mean, props on having confidence on your kicker but damn!!
I make Cal Bear highlights. OH BOY I GET TO EXPLAIN "THE PLAY" TO A VTUBER: The Stanford band had a long tradition where they would rush the field to celebrate a win. It fits right in with their image of being "rowdy anti-establishment nerds." During the 1982 rivalry game (The Big Game) with Cal, John Elway (yeah THAT John Elway) led his team down the field and got them into field goal range and kicked it to take a 20-19 lead with only a few seconds left on the clock. The ensuing kickoff became "The Play:" a five lateral kickoff return which, on the third lateral where the one Cal player almost got tackled, seemed like the game ended so the Stanford band rushed the field... except the ball wasn't dead yet. Kevin Moen ran through the band and spiked trombonist Gary Tyrrell to punctuate the winning touchdown. This was 1982 so there wasn't any video replay and there was no precedent for non-player interference so the touchdown stood. Cal wins 25-20 and Joe Starkey's radio call is one of the greatest calls in the history of American sports. To this day, when the Stanford Axe trophy (awarded to whoever wins The Big Game) is in Stanford's possession, they change the score to 20-19.
There was an interview with the Nebraska QB and receiver after that play against Northwestren. Both guys said they thought they were going to die from the celebration after because it was hard to breathe and every one kept piling on. Not to mention said QB was the back up Speaking of "#12" was the QB who just threw said pass to win the game. Which was why he was hyped and probably threw off his helmet
19:14 A lot of these don't hit because a substantial amount of context is cut out. It may be better just the view all the highlights from specific games rather than some of these compilations, but that was truly a great crucial play.
That miami@duke game ending was crazy, but what makes it worse is that the refs made 4 errors. One of which wouldve ended the game, that being on one of the laterals a player's knee was down before the ball was released. After the game, the refs and replay booth for that game were suspended for two games which just makes this whole thing crazier.
They actually could have thrown a flag on the band, actually, because they went and made an assumption that the game was over and headed out onto the field of play early, and that's a bench unsportsmanlike conduct and 15 yards -- and the refs could rule if they think the band being on the field interfered with someone's otherwise unimpeded path to the end zone and just rule it a touchdown if they so choose. Since Cal scored anyway it's moot. But every time Stanford wins the trophy for The Big Game, they change the score on said trophy to as if Cal didn't score and they won, and every time CAL wins they change it back. (Stanford insists that that guy who was _almost_ tackled actually _was_ tackled. Basically it's kind of like as a Bills fan, I am honor bound to state that the Music City Miracle lateral was an illegal forward pass. All I can _really_ say about it when no one is looking is that "It is VERY close. It's an inch forward or an inch backwards, nothing outside of that range".
9:48 Yes you can throw a flag for the band being on the field when they're not supposed to, it's called Unsportsmanlike Conduct which Stanford did get a flag for for that very reason.
im a Tennessee Vols fan; i watched that Vols vs UGA game when i was in college; also 15 years of Bama beating us in a row, when Vols finally beat Bama in 2022 first time since i was in middle school i was shaking and lost my voice.
I was at the usc asu game in 2014. Worst Hail Mary coverage I’ve ever seen, our defenders literally backpedaled hoping it will fall in their hands instead of actually attacking the ball in the air. So much pain that day lol
These games are a huge deal. College football coaches are some of the highest paid public employees in the country. Sometimes millions of dollars can be riding on the result of these games, and winning big bowl games can mean the difference between your school having the funding it needs or not.
To the one that said they rule a td if u land on ur butt with feet out of bounds NFL and NCAA changed it to where if feet are out of bounds it's ruled as no good
Yes DragonSpit you beautiful nerd. 3:27 was destined to be there. Also, 19:14 was indeed a normal play, but the video is literally about game winning Touchdowns and/or field goals so it belongs in the video. Especially if it is Clemson beating Alabama 😏. Not to mention, a lot of the plays in the video were normal plays.

If spit was heart broken by the Chris Davis return, she'll never survive being a Bears fan
thats so fucking real. is she a bears fan or something?
Or worse, a bengals fan
I’m right with you brother. The pain never ends. Please just let this season end already
Cowboys and colts may not be a powerhouse but the colts and cowboys are better than the bears
+1 Doink
I'm jealous af you were there for the kick six. Not jealous you were in Alabama gear at the time lmao
4:30 A bunch of people are gonna be scanning the crowd looking for a set of horns in an Alabama shirt
Yeah, I guess realistically we even know to narrow it down to the student section! haha
15:33, while you said that one wasn't that impressive, it is the context of the game that is important. That was USC vs. Texas in the 2006 National Championship Game. That play won Texas the championship of college football.
The Kick Six play is infinitely better with the Auburn radio caller.

AUBURN'S GONNA WIN THE FOOTBALL GAME! AUBURN'S GONNA WIN THE FOOTBALL GAME!

20:20 fun fact, that shove into the endzone actually caused the player to break his hip
Damn, that must've been painful
@@wolfjaeku3564 100%, probably didn't help either that he was then dog piled

Wait, there's an online anime girl that watches football?
cool.

I love you spit:D
A sentence I'd never thought I'd say

The ACC had to publicly apologize, too

as a Georgia fan the first clip is of that play..... I'm depressed now
Do you trust beck to lead yall to a chip?
@@chickenuzumaki1771 No. Stockton is better, but they won't play him. Beck is too timid and can't commit to getting rid of the ball or not.
@@chickenuzumaki1771 What you mean? It's not gonna be him. He's hurt.
@ I thought he was gonna be ready to go i guess not
I couldn’t bear to watch this until after the first title game
The MSU Victory over UofM was a game that I was selling concessions for, so I got to see that one live
9:48 Yes you can throw a flag for the band being on the field when they're not supposed to, it's called Unsportsmanlike Conduct which Stanford did get a flag for for that very reason.
College football always has mor crazy moments than NFL. Especially now adays with all their rules
im a Tennessee Vols fan; i watched that Vols vs UGA game when i was in college; also 15 years of Bama beating us in a row, when Vols finally beat Bama in 2022 first time since i was in middle school i was shaking and lost my voice.
And now Jalen Watts-Jackson has a normal job, never went on to the NFL/CFL, he just went on being a normal dude
I think she’s the only vtuber who watches sports
AkaScarlet is another, she’s awesome too!
There's plenty that are sports fans that watch on their own time.
I NEED you to watch saquon barkley's college highlights. I love that you're a vtuber who watches this stuff so I have to show you all my favs now lmao
3:10 A young Tom Brady playing for Michigan State University. That clip had to be from either 1997 or 98.
That Auburn play made me soooo happy that day xD
18:55 one word: Cinema!
I remember watching the kick six game live, I can’t even imagine being at the game!
Hi Dragon
I recommend you to react to college football miracles
They are insane finishes
Is very good
I just imagine Spit as football player having all her teammates jump on her and she uses her horns to fight them off like GET OFF xD
As a Ducks fan I’m a little disappointed that The Pick didn’t make it into this video
They were playing fucking rugby in that second play the way they tossed the ball around.
I was at the usc asu game in 2014. Worst Hail Mary coverage I’ve ever seen, our defenders literally backpedaled hoping it will fall in their hands instead of actually attacking the ball in the air. So much pain that day lol
Never in a million years I thought I’d see a Vtuber watch Auburns kick six. Both my personalities have mixed oddly
YESSS MORE FOOTBALL
React to Vandy beating Bama this year 😂
Yes, I agree.
20:11 PTSD
Gotta react to Game Losing Plays next, either NFL or college.
Hey Dragon I'm an Auburn fan so I enjoyed those plays during that season 😂😂🦅🧡💙
Roll tide!
Milsaps players aren't playing Football, they're playing Rugby in this play. 🤣

LSU Ole Miss from this season was a phenomenal game winner, wish it made the video😂
Ha! She's a Gump! At least she's not a Corndog though. GO GATORS!
Spit went to the Kick Six Iron Bowl?!
that Ohio State one, just…. man I love the Buckeyes
as an OSU fan the Cordell Stewart 75 yrd pass to beat Michigan was pretty sweet too
the one Vtuber I genuinely like bc she knows ball lol
Wildest College Football endings.
No shot the Arkansas punt return wasn’t in here
War eagle
The kick six enough to make all Alabama fans cry😞
like on 3 of them, spit said it was a regular play, and yes it is, but it was for the National Championship, that's why it made the video.
Ohio state's mascot is Brutus, the Buckeye.
As an Ohioan, it's not uncommon for fans to fall all over the place. And the Ohio State mascot is Brutus Buckeye (because buckeye state)
Anime girl watching football? My god they exist.
Me as an alabama fan enjoyed watching auburn choked 10 years later roll tide
the second one is basically madden
I've seen most of these plays before.
To the one that said they rule a td if u land on ur butt with feet out of bounds NFL and NCAA changed it to where if feet are out of bounds it's ruled as no good
My two favorite things football and vtubers
Oh you're a Bama fan!
The proper term is, "Gump".
Auburn so lucky
FOOTBALL
I mean it's like 12 years since they even beat Georgia so
Auburn vs Georgia 0:25
