Hi, I use the shifter for 10,000 km. To date no problem to report, no metal particles returned during the oil change. I do not see any malfunction of the gearbox.
No, it s only a qickshifter. It s just a a sensor senses the gearshift action, a microcontroller (CPU) processes the data (and calculates the timing) and cuts off ignition momentarily, resulting in reduction of load at the transmission allowing the new gear to slip (and engage) into its place.

The shifter is even more effective at higher rpm.The only negative point is the change from 1 to 2 because of the neutral. But with a little training it is no longer a problem.
@@bastien237 I have this quickshifter from Healtech as well, in the manual it stated that you shouldn't use it from 1st to 2nd gear (because of the great power transfer within the gearbox). With a quickshifter it is also very important to be very, very precise with your gear shifts. Your left foot have to be shifting exactly the same (speed of your shifting movement and the pressure applied from the beginning to the end) over and over again. A quickshifter is designed to shift seemless in full throttle conditions and has to be tuned very good to do no harm to the gearbox.
@@rensheuvel thanks for the comment. I have been using the quickshifter for 15,000 km now. No anomalies to report. I do the oil service every 5000 km, no metallic particles, everything works as well.

Does it work well in high RPM’s? Have you done a track day with it? I’m looking at one for mine.
