If you look at the first ever episode “The Children of Jamestown”, you can pick up the vibe that a lot of Murdock’s action and lines were added back/ad libbed.
This was my parents' favorite show some 30 years ago, and it was also our childhood show 10 years ago. Really great show! We would rewatch the series every night for years and never got tired of it.
