Me too when Danelle mentioned she sold one of the goats but didn't say anything then Al mentioned he getting a goat flying in it had to Danelles goat can't wait to see it
I've watched Weed 'em & Reap and I know Hope has struggled ALOT with going back and forth between moms who dont know this playful little amazing bright spirit! I was gonna ask if I can give hope a home but you got her! Yes I may be jealous but im glad she at least has a nice home to live in! So make sure to take good care of her! Anyway with warm regards and much love.... Luna Animates Edit : thanks for the ❤!
Look at Tanner, sitting and waiting like a good pup while you feed the chickens! GOOD BOY! I bet you're happy to see more and more muddy earth each day. Can't wait to meet the new goat!
Oh wow!!! 🐐on a ✈! I was wondering how you were gonna get her so fast. Lol. They better be good to her on that ✈! I Hope* all the girls get along and fast! How exciting!! 🤗❤
Like a LOT of other people in this comment thread, after watching Danelle's last video and then seeing the description for this video, it wasn't that hard to figure out who the goat is and from where she is coming and I'm so excited because she's such a cute, little goat. Congrats, Al, Gina & Olivia! Keep her warm!
I just love going with you on your farm chores, especially the morning feeding. You have the perfect blend of activities: chores, projects, cooking and family time. (Even doggy and kitty time. lol) Olivia is a great little helper and Gina seems to be getting a little less camera shy. Can hardly wait for the new goat (Hope she likes it there hehe), and for the new babies, and for the new piggies, oh and for the new barn build. Heck for everything. LOL Bless you all.
Ohhh thats a cool attachment!..I didnt know they had that...it will definitley help with adding things to the bowl. Olivia loves watching Gina's reactions...shes so funny!
It will be a huge adjustment. It's a good thing it is starting to warm up there. Might have to keep her in the basement at night for a few nights until she's acclimated.
You are so kind to your goats. I love that. I had a goat when I was a kid and I loved to play with him. He was a great goat until he got on my sisters convertible car and went through the top.
Anticipation Lumnahs. New goat. Keep growin and goin toward your family goals. Appreciate your work ethics and your heart's desire to achieve excellence. It encourages so many of us to do the same at any level or size of homesteading. Praying for your family's health, strength, safety and success. Go Lumnahs. ☝💪👍...👉
Agree👍💯 Lumnah is one of a handful of channels I follow and they've all changed my life.....honestly. They've encouraged me to think more about what I put in my body. I've suffered for a few decades from RA and Fibromyalgia and of course fell victim to pain pills. I've DITCHED ALL MEDS!! I eat clean and am vigilant about including certain natural herbs and supplements to facilitate this wonderful metamorphosis!!!! I feel like the first 48 years I was a caterpillar......now I'm becoming a butterfly. They've also helped change my dogs lives bc it gave me the extra push I needed to switch them to a raw/kibble diet. Best choice ever!!!
I came from Weed em and Reaps channel when hope joined your family. I’m so happy to watch her journey and I have to say that I love your channel. I look forward to new videos. It’s become one of my favorite channels. Thank you for being some joy to my life. Love it and I’m embracing the weird.
What I wouldn't give for a concrete topped island like yours. I have no counter or table space in my tiny crowded kitchen. I am so jealous. Please hurry and put up the new goat video tomorrow. I will set my alarm to see it!!!! My fingers are crossed that I guessed who she is!!!
There's a video I saw on YT where a guy made a concrete counter top at home. I think all total it cost him about 100 bucks......and I'm being generous with that amount bc I think it was less. That way you can make it any size/shape/color/thickness etc. He even added grout to make "veins" like you would see in marble. Very interesting instructional video.....and he's pretty funny too!
Slush...yes! Pretty soon no more snow! Pluto is going to be glad. I wonder what Tanner will do? Your chickens and the goats will have a home down on the grass to celebrate I bet.
Wow , how awesome is that? I had no idea it was Hope from Weed em and Reap. I watch a lot of homesteading videos both city and country and loved that you will be giving Hope the life she deserves with you guys. Good luck and God Bless.
So excited to see that snow finally melting! That sap is taking its sweet time to flow. Maybe the south side of the trees that gets sun for most of the day will be warmer and best side to tap 🤔. Love how you are using the milking parlor for the new goat and soon for Willow and her babies. You always get multiple uses out of everything you design! Genius! Can’t wait for tomorrow to see the new goat! Always something to look forward to on the homestead! Next is chicks, and maple syrup, then piglets🐷
I believe Al has said it has to do more with the tree roots, and as they still have a lot of snow around the bottoms of the trees, that could be what's causing the trees to not be flowing yet really..maybe?? :)
Good morning all. I can’t wait to meet your new addition to the goat family. 😊💞 I always wait in anticipation to see how many eggs you collect. 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚😊
This is so awesome! Can’t wait to see your new doe and learn about her and where she came from! Our oldest doe cameo kidded this weekend and she had 3 but only 1 survived because they were all twisted together. It was a hard delivery for her but momma and baby buck I think I’m going to bake Jr are doing wonderful!!!
Our kids were born yesterday. They are the first goats born on our property. It's such an amazing experience. Everyone is assuming Hope is your new goat. It would be fun if that is the case!
This is the first time watching this video, even though it is one year old I still enjoyed it very much. I did watch when Hope came and I fell in love with her, my goats are just wonderful , thank you for sharing them. The pizza looked wonderful. God bless from Utah
A suggestion for the PPM water tank... don't put the tank on the deck, build a perch for it so the water tank can be as high as possible and still collect the gutter water. That way you have rooom under it for a grain barrel and also you have some head. You water the pigs via a nipple waterer right? Nice milking stanchion! Did you make that? I was trained to always cut my bailing twin at the knot. You may or may not use the twine again, but if you cut it at the knot the twine will be more usable.
So excited can't wait to see the new goat, oh that new tool was nice for your mixer, no more hurt fingers, oh that pizza looked so good, have a wonderful day family,

I was always on the other end giving the kid its last feeding before the flight put it in the crate and seeing it on the plane. Most of them went to Alaska.
Good morning Al. It looked like Buttercup was flagging when you asked who passed gas. I wonder how many kids Willow is going to have this go around. Did you know that unwashed eggs don't need refrigeration? It is the bloom that they have from being laid that protects them. Have a good week.
Moose seemed a little camera shy this morning. Buttercup wanted in on the action with Pluto and Figaro, looked like they were having a great time. I think Willow blew you a little kiss when you were cleaning the parlor out lol. Looking forward to seeing the chickens out and about, bet they're about ready to break out. Have a good day.

Yay! A new animal is always exciting. Is she tiny enough to fit through anywhere Al? Guess you'll see. Tanner will likely be very interested in everything now the seasons are changing. I did two pizzas for supper on Saturday and they were gone in ten minutes. Lol.
We finally had few small runs of sap this past week; still 20" of snow on the South facing slope and closer to 24" in the rest of the Sugar Bush. Trees are just to cold to really get running.

Nice healthy eggs. Once upon a time there were no food supplements so our gran moms added pulverized eggshells to salt so calcium was added to every meal. Growing kids need a lot of calcium.

your logo on sweatshirt is fading. awesome u still got snow meanwhile in texas it feels like New york summer.
So all you need now is a couple of days heavy rainfall to wash that snow away, followed by prolonged sunshine to dry it all out!! Haha! 😄
