- Welcome to Switzerland. We Experienced the best of this incredible European destination with a Grand Rail Tour of Switzerland. Our adventures here took us high into the peaks of the Swiss Alps then deep into broad, colorful valleys. Brilliant blue lakes complemented the often-beautiful clear skies. This escorted expedition began in Zurich, the largest city in the country. From there, we enjoyed traveling throughout Switzerland, venturing to cities such as Grindelwald, Montreux, Zermatt, Chur, Lugano and Lucerne. These world-class destinations were connected by the country's intricate rail network and some of its most famous trains: Glacier Express, Bernina Express, Gotthard Panorama Express, GoldenPass Panoramic, Gornergrat Mountain Railway, and the Jungfrau Railway.
This fourth episode is all about our journey to the city of Montreux.

Great video. We've just come back from a tour Switzerland and can say Montreux was probably the prettiest of the places we visited. We did the two hour cruise on Lake Geneva late in the afternoon with the sun shining,it will be in our memories a long time. Lucerne was another highlight with Chapel Bridge a nice setting for lunch and a drink. Zermatt was fantastic,St.Moritz was good too. Look forward to your next videos👍
Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately we didn't have much time in Montreux. Zermatt was our favorite location. We have two videos released from Zermatt, check them out. @@grahamjones7070
