- Which 10 books would you like to have.... if money were no object?!
An irresistible discussion point. Thank you to Gavin@GenreBooks23 for thinking of it, and Pat@BookChatWithPat8668 for suggesting I try it.
Can you guess which books I'd go for? Have a listen.
@saintdonoghue I'd love to hear your book choices, either in a video or comments.
What fabulous choices. I am loving this ‘not a tag’ 😊. Loved your choices
Oh wow what a selection!
I hope you'll give this tag a go? Please be tempted.
Delightful choices, Heather! I knew you would have wonderful selections.
it is such a great, open-ended tag. And delightfully simple because you don't have to physically line up the books:-)
@ I loved when you said that you are the person to call when in need of convincing to buy a book. I may be calling on you! 😉
@@BookChatWithPat8668 I think you are already fairly convinced of the value of investing in good books:-) Your channel has no shortage of them, which is great.
Superb! Lost Consonants! Was that the Observer or the Saturday Guardian? I used to love those.
exactly! loved them too. I had a book of them and it lasted me years because I only sent one occasionally to a couple of friends who I knew would really, really appreciate them! I checked and there's still a few floating around secondhand. Utterly enjoyed your challenge/discussion video. Please do more of these now and again, it was much easier to do that a tag with 20 questions! I hear you're doing a shelf tour - let me know when you reach the art books!
Thank you, Heather. I'm very much enjoying this unofficial tag. And thank you Gavin for your brilliant idea to start it.
will you make a video too?
@@heathergregg9975 Oh gosh, no. I wouldn't even know where to start and I feel too old to try it. More to the point, I'm struggling with chronic pain and I know that would show on the video. I started my list in the comments section of Gavin's original post over on genrebooks -- I love him to bits.
@ Lively engaged comments like yours bring such life to those of us who make these videos, so I'm glad that you're taking part like this. Thoughtful responses are as much a part of Booktube as making the videos - it's then a real conversation:-) Gavin makes great content - he has great books and when we did Framed in September he put a huge amount of effort into filming National Gallery and around London, which was fab.
@ Aww, thank you. It's nice to hear that one's comments are appreciated. Yes, it does become a conversation, with no trolls invited!
