Great video! However, a few misconceptions. Namely, it wasn’t Ezekiel’s birthday, but the years he was prophesying in exile which indicates he’s been prophesying for over 30 years. The further you read, you’ll see in the 5th year, or the 12 year [the word of the Lord came to me] etc. (Ezekiel 32:17) Also the vision he saw of the creature was not the glory of God, but the likeness. Meaning he was so awe inspired to see the image. Further in the Bible, he references his visions as like the voice of the Almighty etc. but its context to show how aweinspiring it all was for him. (Ezekiel 1:28)
Imagine how hard it must have been, to be the prophet.. everybody thinking you're insane or weird, misunderstood by everyone... They had to had a lot of faith and love in their heart.
Ok, well I have no idea how long it must take your team to create these episodes, but I want to just take a minute and tell you what a profound impact you're having on simpletons like me. Before starting to study a new book of the Bible, I watch your video so I at least have an idea of where the text is going. Your videos are like a spiritual, "drone" that hovers over the entire book and gives the reader an understanding of God's point of view. Thank you so much for your tireless dedication. The Lord must be so proud of you and your team!

I'm amazed at the visuals and explanation of this book. After reading Ezekiel and not receiving a clear personal visual of the throne, I'm in awe to receive a clear depiction. It brought me to tears. I'm so grateful for the bible project.

I also had a 'vision' of heaven and was born again and baptised in the Spirit on my birthday...I was 26. Now I'm 37! Those years have been the best of my life, praise God.

@Peter Griffin A lot has to do with personal experience, at least in my case. It will possibly change your worldview. What doesn't make sense for us, can make sense on another level of existence which I am sure is out there. But to most people without the personal experience it seems crazy. Because the logic we are used to is based on our human way of thinking and understanding. That's just what it is. So to explain someone the colour "Blue" who is a blind person is a tough Thing to do. Same with Religion. Hard to explain your experience to someone who is literally blind to the meaning of religion. And also the World and the Worldview at the Time was different from today, which should not mean People back then where Idiots, they just reacted to Stuff as they understood it. Which is the natural Thing to do. But there is a Way of starting to understand if someone is interested : read the Bible without prejudice and sentence by sentence. If you don't understand something, stop, take a break and read it again. By that Method I could experience the holy Ghost. And by giving my Life into the Hands of Jesus Christ.
Who's watching this in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic? I pray that God would show his mercy and forgive us all for our iniquity, idolatry, and rebellion against God. It seems to me that we are coming closer to a time just like Israel. No return. God's wrath and judgment will be poured out soon and judgment of God starts with the household of God as it says in 1 Peter 4:17. So I call all of us to repent, forsake the things of the world, and come to Jesus.

I've been drawn to the old testament these recent days. As many other friends I know. Jeremiah, Kings, Chronicles a Ezekiel. Idolotry is becoming rampant in the modern church. If we consider the church today as Israel. When you look at this with this perspective. Its frightening similar!!! I truly believe God is using scripture to warn us of things to come!! It literally feels like the present is playing out like what happened in the past. Nothing new under the sun indeed!!

My friend and I tried to read Ezekiel for two weeks...we were so confused. Thanks for the visual presentation. I am not as intimidated by the book anymore.
And your still confused! How could Ezekiel be in exile prophesying about the Captivity they were going to go into when they were already in the very prophecy he was prophesying about? I could be wrong. Sorry! But I don’t read that in the scriptures.
As1Israel Kingdom the captivity and exile occurred in stages. Ezekiel was taken in the first attack. He was seeing and warning of what was yet to come. The temple was still up but would get destroyed later.
I so literally so grateful to God for this channel. You guys have done such an amazing job animating these books. I had a difficult time trying to understand this book but this video really helped me. God bless you all so much. I pray that God will give you all more ideas.

This is the best depiction of every book in Bible. Whenever I confused to understand the story or topic, I used these videos to understand what actually happened. When one is bound by chains of addiction and immorality. The bible comes to life even more. Praise Jesus!, the one who's robes surrounded the temple that Ezekiel witnessed. Like the women begging to atleast touch the border of Jesus's robe. But ezekiel saw robes surround the temple....as in.... his mercy is very close to whomever wants to touch his robe.

The story of Ezekiel reminds me to never give up hope. Ezekiel had to go through so many challenges, and after all that nobody believes in him. Yet he still preserved and remained faithful to God.
Scott Cannon no thanks. You should just watch The Bible Project's videos on Revelation and understand that the book is not about predicting future events. And then you should learn that the dispensational view of interpreting Revelation and Daniel is pretty recent in church history and it has largely deviated from how the church has understood prophecy for the past 2000 years.

No he's right. God is Creator. So, Tim either misspoke or is making a distinction between God as Creator, and Ezekial's Vision of God's Glory as a "creature". Almost like Inception. 😮
Yesterday I was going through my Bible highlighting the word “abomination” in the color red because I find color coding things help me remember better. I noticed the book of Eziekiel had the word “abomination/abominations” in around 50 times. Those words are used more in this book than in any other book in the Bible. I also noticed in chapter 14 we’re it says “those 3 men Daniel/Noah/Job would save their souls through their righteousness.” Now I’m interested in why the word abomination is used so many times and in some paragraphs it’s used more than once, so I intend to read through the book. As someone that has a hard understanding of what I read…this video will help me understand so much easier. Thank you my friend.

What about the vision of the "wheel within the wheel"? I thought that was pretty important; I was curious of your interpretation of it. Regardless, it was very well done! Absolutely amazing!
They're called Thrones. Look up the choirs of heaven, or Choirs of celestials. Thrones are wheels with in wheels with many "eyes" or studded with eyes, which are all the topaz, and other stones.

Lucifer, Satan, Beezlebub etc was said to take with him some under his command that moved as he did, these were Thrones. Prophets have the protection of our God. They walked a higher plane of faith and did not care what others thought. What they cared about was that the word of God was shared and released to all believers and non-believers. They are Blessed by God to speak the truth.

Take some advice from Christ: don't try and teach everything all at once. Otherwise, you'll just confuse people and turn them off. One step at a time. Remember, the Bible is a chronicle of centuries of learning.

Christmas originated with Tammuz and his mother and father who were King Nimrod and his wife, Semiramis. I'm not joking or putting my own spin. It's just fact. Christmas and Easter have NOTHING to do with God.
@Nick Papsi Lam Yes, and that's exactly what it means. Semiramis had MANY names and Easter is one of them. Ishtar is too. Nimrod had MANY names also and so did their son, Tammuz. This is why the scene with Mary and the baby which is supposed to be Jesus fashioned after Semiramis and her son Tammuz. It's all pagan and God Almighty hates it with a passion. I mean, Easter has nothing to do with Christ. Everyone says that Christ rose on Easter Sunday but no He did not. He was not crucified on Friday. It was the day BEFORE a special Sabbath, they called it "Preparation Day". That had to be a Wednesday He was crucified. This will explain THREE days and THREE nights in the tomb. Revelation describes this false dogma as "The great babylonian mystery religion" with a harlot riding a scarlet colored beast. God will deal with "her" in time. The Bible works in sort of a duality. The first is the longer one but the second one is the shorter one but EXTREMELY more intense. Here's one example. God told Moses that Pharaoh would NOT let his people go BUT to go and tell him TO let them go. God hardened his heart to say no because this whole thing had to play out because it WILL play out again in the last days. All these plagues will happen again but the REAL Christians will be protected just like the Israelites were. This is one of MANY dualities. It took years to learn but as I learned, my faith GREW. My friend and I tried to read Ezekiel for two weeks...we were so confused. Thanks for the visual presentation. I am not as intimidated by the book anymore.
And your still confused! How could Ezekiel be in exile prophesying about the Captivity they were going to go into when they were already in the very prophecy he was prophesying about? I could be wrong. Sorry! But I don’t read that in the scriptures.
As1Israel Kingdom the captivity and exile occurred in stages. Ezekiel was taken in the first attack. He was seeing and warning of what was yet to come. The temple was still up but would get destroyed later.

Praise Jesus!, the one who's robes surrounded the temple that Ezekiel witnessed. Like the women begging to atleast touch the border of Jesus's robe. But ezekiel saw robes surround the temple....as in.... his mercy is very close to whomever wants to touch his robe.

The story of Ezekiel reminds me to never give up hope. Ezekiel had to go through so many challenges, and after all that nobody believes in him. Yet he still preserved and remained faithful to God.

Scott Cannon no thanks. You should just watch The Bible Project's videos on Revelation and understand that the book is not about predicting future events. And then you should learn that the dispensational view of interpreting Revelation and Daniel is pretty recent in church history and it has largely deviated from how the church has understood prophecy for the past 2000 years.

Yesterday I was going through my Bible highlighting the word “abomination” in the color red because I find color coding things help me remember better. I noticed the book of Eziekiel had the word “abomination/abominations” in around 50 times. Those words are used more in this book than in any other book in the Bible. I also noticed in chapter 14 we’re it says “those 3 men Daniel/Noah/Job would save their souls through their righteousness.”
Now I’m interested in why the word abomination is used so many times and in some paragraphs it’s used more than once, so I intend to read through the book.
As someone that has a hard understanding of what I read…this video will help me understand so much easier.

@Nick Papsi Lam Yes, and that's exactly what it means. Semiramis had MANY names and Easter is one of them. Ishtar is too. Nimrod had MANY names also and so did their son, Tammuz. This is why the scene with Mary and the baby which is supposed to be Jesus fashioned after Semiramis and her son Tammuz. It's all pagan and God Almighty hates it with a passion. I mean, Easter has nothing to do with Christ. Everyone says that Christ rose on Easter Sunday but no He did not. He was not crucified on Friday. It was the day BEFORE a special Sabbath, they called it "Preparation Day". That had to be a Wednesday He was crucified. This will explain THREE days and THREE nights in the tomb. Revelation describes this false dogma as "The great babylonian mystery religion" with a harlot riding a scarlet colored beast. God will deal with "her" in time. The Bible works in sort of a duality. The first is the longer one but the second one is the shorter one but EXTREMELY more intense. Here's one example. God told Moses that Pharaoh would NOT let his people go BUT to go and tell him TO let them go. God hardened his heart to say no because this whole thing had to play out because it WILL play out again in the last days. All these plagues will happen again but the REAL Christians will be protected just like the Israelites were. This is one of MANY dualities. It took years to learn but as I learned, my faith GREW.
