What size motors are you using? How many ounces? Looks like 400oz motors but the 600oz motors look just like that too.

Those are good Spl numbers for the power your running. The smaller cab size must help.
Jim Elam Nowhere near as efficient as my spl build was but still decent. It peaks in the 20-30hz range which makes that score worth it for me.

Not sure what I have planned but hopefully something cool! It plays up to ~65hz but does fall off in that area according to the meter but by ear seems to sound just as loud or more. Door open demos does 55+ from 24h-34hz and 160 from 34-42hz and by 55hz its back at 56s or so.

It never had AC, its old enough that at the time you had to pay more to get an ac lol!
JeepAndBass oh shit kinda like old Honda's...my cousin had a 80s civic that came with no AC... crazy
JeepAndBass also the 99 si civic came with a racing edition that came with a steering wheel and drivers seat and that's it..no seats stereo or AC...no bells and whistles

I want to start getting into car audio but i have questions. Should i start with highs/mids or a subwoofer? I'm thinking about going with a 12 inch subwoofer but I don't know which one to get. I have limited it down to either a Sundown Audio SA-12 or Soundqubed HDS3. Anyone have any recommendations? The box I will be building will have 6.75~ inches (for a single cab) of mounting depth btw. JeepAndBass Exactly. We don’t waste money, car audio is something myself among many other are very passionate about. If you’re passionate about say, mudding for example, are you wasting money on those lifts, wheels and tires and other mods to the vehicle? No, because it’s something you love to do. You may not understand it, and that’s fine, but don’t call it a waste.
Once people make up their minds you can’t convince them of anything. I’m slowly giving up on that lol.
