Just heard Potter’s first West Ham interview & his first presser. What a delight to hear clear& precise structured approach. No more excuses for the players Comes across as a great addition & talented manager that appreciates the club & its supporters Let’s get behind the gaffer 100%
He was actually my pick Charlie so I’m happy. He is not a flashy named foreigner but to my mind we desperately needed a good English manager and we now have one.
Have no time for Lopey as a manager, but as a human being he has been treated disgustingly. The owners have embarrassed us all as a team and as a fanbase, as well as themselves, with these disgraceful shenanigans.
how do you make that out. at least the board didn't do it behind his back. loppitegi new he was on his way out and him and his staff will be paid off very handsomely.
@@chrisstevens2706 Loppy is rubbish. But disrespecting him on exit is terrible. And disgustingly really is a word. Maybe look it up on an online dictionary and check.
I'm 100% behind Potter. I hope he asked the club to officially sack Lopetegui before he signs - the club looked bad enough as is. Regarding Potter, I will absolutely get behind him. His time at Östersund convinces me that he knows how to build a team. People might complain that it was the Swedish Leage but managing a team and promoting them from 4th division to a European competition is a feat that is exceptionally difficult. At Brighton and Swansea he looked really good, too. And in my honest opinion, anyone would struggle at Chelsea and be unhappy there. I know I would 😂
Good summary - I was living in Sweden when Potter broke through with Östersund - he was an absolute sensation there. Put to the back of your mind the (alleged) player [dodgy] dealings at ÖFK since it wasn't him buying the players - not sure where this "Potter is Steidten's pick" stuff is emanating from though, first I've heard of it. I was that desperate to see the back of Floppy I'd have taken Brian, or for that matter, Harry, Potter!
Totally agree, the majority of our fanbase are decent people so we expect the same from those on the board of the club, sadly they have different values than us fans.
I was extremely warm towards the idea of Potter in the summer and my feelings haven't changed. I just think right place, right time for him, and I hope I'm right, since I'm often not when it comes to the circus...
Let's hope we get the Potter that made Brighton such a good team to watch and not the one that saw Chelsea nosediving down the table. Good luck to him, he's gonna need it working with our short shanks chairman.
Hi Frazer, Chelsea didn't necessarily nose dive, they just didn't win as often as they wanted. However they hardly lost either. He got sacked basically for drawing too many games and 2 unexpeceted losses against Fulham and Southampton. He was expected to get a championship challenge up and running in 31 games with a totally ill-conceived squad of over-priced components.
Gary, your 100% right about pop Robson etc. We must give Potter a chance. He needs time. Perhaps even a year to get everything right! If we can stick with him we will have the team we want. Patience will be key so let’s support him! 👍😀⚒⚒⚒

Love Pop, remember in the 1970's we needed a player to come and meet some young fans at a sporting event, we asked a whole range of players and they turned their noses up and some wanted paying. Pop immediately said yes and gave his time for free and the young fans were all over him and both him and them had a really great time.
Loppy was a disastrous appointment we all had misgivings and so it proved. There’s a way of conducting these things and what we saw is not that. Potter is not everyone’s pick but we all need to get behind him and see where we go hopefully we will be better organised and stop shipping goals and win a few. Loppys communication skills were not good it’s not his first language but I could barely understand a word he said.
@GaryKillington Me too,Gary. That song's earworming through my brain now. I didn't know about the ballet, though. It makes perfect sense . Happy days⚒️⚒️
Uninspiring appointment, but since he's got the job, he's got to be given the chance. He'll leave my good graces if he was to try to engineer or encroach into the recruitment or direction/vision side of things. Currently it's only Kresintsky and Steidten keeping Sully from playing proxy football manager. We MUST keep the boundary so that the following holds true. We can't have the situation where Potter pals arounds and slots in his man for the football director, only for the whole lot to be sack when he does and we have to start all over again. Potter as Head Coach, and nothing else.
It inspires me tbh, he was my preferred choice when you balance English/Experienced/Track Record and finally, FREE! Obviously there are more glamourous and expensive options out there but I'm just not bothered by that. I like the idea of a quiet man taking over.
@@GaryKillington Gary, you don't need to a shouter to be bold. That's my main criticism of Potter. A death of a thousand cuts for Lopetegui,a 72 hour sacking,Sullivan has excelled himself Gary. The board or Sullivan should never had appointed Lopetegui from the start.Again out of work manager,no payout, cheap and available?Amorim would have been 3 times the cost and 3 times the manager, missed a trick there I feel. I’m actually quite excited about the new Potter era,but a smidge cautious though.
My concern with Potter is that by any measurement criteria he failed at Chelsea with a far superior squad, imo, than he will inherit at West Ham. Good luck to him, comes across as a decent bloke, but I’m expecting another outing for the circus tent in the next 12 months.
Yall saying Potter aint th right fit for West Ham because he flopped at chelsea well chelsea was then a graveyard for managers after Abramowich sold the club.Lampard,Potter, Poch and even Tuchel who did a great job was sacked by Boehly. Let us take Nuno Espirito Santo as an example. He was good at Wolves and but had a hard time at Spurs. So before Forest went for him most of their supporters were against Nuno replacing Steve Cooper. But look at Forest now playing some great football. Potter aint a bad coach. He took swedish side Österunds from the fourth to first swedish division. He did great at Swansea and was fantastic at Brighton. I tell you folks The game of football is lie gambling. You eigther win big or loose everything

I was just waiting for us to lose that Newcastle game because I was in total shock that we knew how to string more than 3 passes together at a time 🤣 Ah well, let's hope we're onto better things.
Glad he has gone but the way it was done. This is disgusting treatment for anyone the club should bow their head in shame
True but I learned a few things today that make me think "so what". I will explain on Friday
Fan's will get blame for this fiasco, media think we're entitled. Loppy was sulivans choice. Thank God he's gone.
Of course Barry, you know it
Harry Potter will be our wizard that saves us COYI.
Let's hope so
Sullivan you are a joke chairman. Please sell up & go pronto.
100% Gatesy, I feel sure he’ll find a new way of fucking this up
I'm ok With Potter but Have most of the players who have downed tools will they be able to Bounce back
I will explain that situation on Friday in my next solo show
Mrs, remember paquer
Fullkrug might suit some ballet lessons??...twinkle toes the Krug?!!....lol
Good idea Rupert, if there's one player who needs it
Loppy wasnt treated right at the end but he himself is not an angel.
He stabbed spains national team in the back by secretly negotiating a newl contract with real madrid before the 2018 worldcup.
He also left his job at Wolves.
Lopetegui himself is s controversial person
Exactly, on balance does he really care, with a car load of cash to walk away?
@@GaryKillington 5.5 million pounds is a lot of Quid
Ace video gary looks like im back had to take a break from to much youtube ) .. My girlfriend said she would love to have seen mark noble at ballet classes .😅.. Erik Dickerson L.A Rams NFL did ballet become the altime leading running back yard rushes in one season and big time hall of famer , fans laughed at the ballet thing.. any rate enjoy tfif game looking forward to what seems to me as a fresh new season 👊 Get in potter .COYI 'X'.
Welcome back Paul, hopefully it'll be a little bit more interesting and hopeful now
Be nice if we can leave Moyes time and Loppy time behind once and for all and get behind Potter. No more shit stirring and decisive garbage. The last 2 years have been exhausting.... COYI... 👍
Yes absolutely, although I do have one more video to make on him after I got some news today. Look out on Friday.
Oh dear God, the guy has been in post for a few hours and we're already seeing the question 🙄
So didn’t fancy watching the video then? Clearly you didn’t so why comment?
Exhausting isn't it... 😏
I think the question was just a framework to look at what Potter has to offer - I don't think it was a criticism.
Im not so sure he’s the right man, more losses and draws than wins in the prem…i feel its another sideways step
Definitely not sideways from Loppy, and I would say much more technically advanced than Moyes
I am much more positive about Potter than I was about Loppy.
Me too Tommy
For the sake of the team we need to get 100% behind Potter
We said that when Loppy started.🤷🏽♂
Based on certain criteria - he could possibly be a good appointment.
I think so too Tony
I think there is a false narrative regarding loputegi relationship withe players, remember paqueta scoring and then running over to embrace loputegi, u would not see that with Moyes!!!
It really isn’t Roger. One of the top youngsters said in pre-season (very reliable source) that he believed the players had not warmed to Loppy, he was a total disciplinarian
Any one but Loppy, Gary. Another embarrassing episode at the Sullivan 🎪! Fingers crossed that Potter can get a tune out of our squad.
Fingers and toes, Kev
@ Enjoy the game Gary.
I hope GP can rediscover the real Paqueta again!
We do have another cb …Aguerd 😀 With luck the club will get a great coach , hopefully its Potter
Great signing ⚒️
I agree
Why?
A death of a thousand cuts for Lopetegui,a 72 hour sacking,Sullivan has excelled himself Gary. The board or Sullivan should never had appointed Lopetegui from the start.Again out of work manager,no payout, cheap and available?Amorim would have been 3 times the cost and 3 times the manager, missed a trick there I feel.
We have Graham Potter and we need to back him 💯,I was prepared to back Lopetegui despite not wanting him.5 games in I was done with and thought he was a fraud of a coach, even pre season I was concerned. No tears shed for Loppy,a failure rewarded with £3 mill payout off you pop back to Spain fella.
I’m actually quite excited about the new Potter era,but a smidge cautious though.
Absolutely Andy, they are incompetent but we knew that, nothing was a surprise. Well said
@ cheers Gary, did you here his presser this morning, nice to be able to understand someone for a change.Looking forward to the show tonight ⚒👍🏻
Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow Gary unfortunately I'm in the villa end ..long story 😂
Let’s all get behind Potter and start off by beating Villa Friday night and then going on a winning run COYI ⚒️🫧🫧🫧
100% Glenn, I’ll be there singing whatever the away fans come up with
My concern with Potter is that by any measurement criteria he failed at Chelsea with a far superior squad, imo, than he will inherit at West Ham. Good luck to him, comes across as a decent bloke, but I’m expecting another outing for the circus tent in the next 12 months.
I think Potter and West Ham are a perfect fit
Why?
I think good because English and possesion and Brighton model and data and good stuff.
Being English at this time is so important and not being one to come in and thrash the players is something they need
At least he speake english
@captainscarlet-o2g lol, Potter speake English very good
it is a small but important thing
Bit of an oxymoron. *Speaks
I think the club have got it right this time, for a change.
Westham are now the club to hate. Disgusting behaviour from the board. What a classless shit club. Feel sorry for the fans.
I don't agree with that. Not West Ham, just a few notable owners.
I don’t think he will make things any better tbh
Give the man a chance FFS
Either watch the video or don’t leave a comment
I’m glad the scenes are over and done with. Potter needs the fans on his side I’m behind the man all the way. Let’s forget how it’s done or who we had/got potter has got this COYI ⚒️🫧
