Very sad that we are only finding out now that Igugu passed away 11-24-16. Such a great filly, RIP girl.
Us neither! Let’s hope for the very best!
Can't wait to see her in Dubai..............she's here!! If Frankel is the best Galileo colt then this must surely be the best filly!
Racing in South Africa this mare was nothing short of brilliant. That being said, you have wonder how strong the competition that Igugu was beating in South Africa really was? It seems odd to me that a mare with her talent would be able to be so dominant at group level in South Africa, yet be unable to win at any level outside of that country. That included trips to Hong Kong, Dubai, & Great Britain where she even raced at listed level at Newmarket and couldn't win.
The best daughter of the brilliant sire Galileo. igugu a star herself.
Is IGUGU as South African mare ?which stables if I may ask
Australian mare
Trained by M De Kock
