Perfect song to learn right now since it's been raining and dark these past couple of days. I'm sure you are getting about the same weather. You are most probably right about the tuning. Thanks for the lesson! 🦧🌧🌧
That is the Soundgarden sound! I was lucky enough to see them at the Reading festival way back in 1995. Must play Superunknown again. Awesome job as always!
During a Premier Guitar Rig Rundown there was a list of all Soundgarden tunings. Mailman was said to be Drop CG for all of them (Kim, Chris, Ben). That episode is basically the what's what of Soundgarden tunings.
Thanks a bunch man. I don't know how they came upon these tunings and still thought it would seem feasible as a band. Just came back cuz I already didn't remember where to start. What a record. Your effort makes tons of people happy thanks!
One of my favorite songs! Going to have to come back later after i get that weird tuning. Is there anyway to convince you to do Let’s Stay Together by Al Green? Maybe without the weird tuning? 😂
Double diarrhea confirmation achieved! The bridge thing is definitely fret three to four like you suggested, not three to five. Three to five would have been way too conventional for a song written by Matt F. Cameron. My earballs, too, would suggest three to four. I also wholly agree with your double C strings, and once again my evidence is "written by Matt Cameron" :) One of my absolute favorite Matt songs, and one that proves how gargantuan he is and was to the "sound" part of Soundgarden :) You've done a great job here, neighbor. Thanks a bunch :)
Matt is rapidly gaining on Ben Shepherd for my top composers of all time, although Zero Chance keeps Ben ever so slightly ahead (Stone, of course, is in a league of his own and so does not feature on this list) :)
