This season is the one to put the league on notice that the Chiefs dynasty is cancelled as the Ravens start their own. And in 2-3 years with no Kelce, it will be embarassing anyone ever though Mahomes was better than Lamar.

    Guys like Mark never back down from what they say, even if they're dead wrong. When they receive pushback, they spin what they say in such a way that it looks like they're right. When cornered they change arguments and move goalposts. It's impossible to go anywhere with them in debate.

    • @QuothTheRaven_89
      @QuothTheRaven_89 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Exhibit A: "Elevate" and "develop"= semantics. In other words, to Mark they're the same. In a different argument on another day, the meanings of those words will be vastly different to him. But today, it's semantics so that he can be right.

    • @QuothTheRaven_89
      @QuothTheRaven_89 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exhibit B: He uses examples of two QBs at the end of their careers as examples of how a young QB should be interacting with his WRs. He actually assumes that Lamar ISN'T communicating these things to his WRs. We've seen Lamar communicate this way IN GAMES. Using Peyton and Brady in every football argument is like using Hitler in every political argument. Whatever, Mark.

    • @QuothTheRaven_89
      @QuothTheRaven_89 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Exhibit C: He somehow finds a way to turn the conversation to random people on X calling him racist. Yes, that stinks Mark. But it doesn't make you right just because you bring it up a few times in the midst of a debate. In fact, it kind of makes you seem like you might be racist by doing so. You throw a rock amongst a pack of dogs, the one that gets hit yelps.

    • @QuothTheRaven_89
      @QuothTheRaven_89 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Exhibit D: "I don't put near as much value in receivers as Baltimore fans do." So where does he rank WRs in importance? Does it change based on the point he's trying to make? 😂

    • @QuothTheRaven_89
      @QuothTheRaven_89 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exhibit E: In his tweet, he said Joe didn't dress because the offense wasn't built for him. In this interview, he changes it up and says it was because Lamar was playing so well but it was also because they changed the offense up. See what he's doing? He's making it so that you're right, but he's ALSO right. He can never be wrong. If Joe was a go, why didn't he play again? The simple answer is that they were below average with Joe and a playoff team with Lamar. Plain and simple.

    The question is too broad... People are mixing entertainment value and talent with talent and greatness... No one really believes Young was truly less talented than Montana. Young was loyal and waited his turn.... No smart, but who knows? If Young was 24 today, he would be 2nd to Mahomes only... And to say that Patrick is not a dual threat is refusing to give him all the cake... John Elway was a great scrambling and running QB like Josh "whatever" in Buffalo, but better overall... Rothlisberger was great too... I hated his butt cause he was good runner and wore down the mental game of defenses with his combo of skills... Jackson is high on the list but who decides who goes on it is hardly objective nor experts... Will always hate Steelers and Elway , but Jackson as a runner has no future value off the field without a ring... Cam has no value in many ways off the field, except by getting clicks with controversy. Russell Wilson won a SB because he was a runner and at times was a hybrid superstar and game manager. 2nd Blk QB to do it. But, the Best at not winning ... A whole bunch of 2nd place QBs... Cunningham was a more fun QB than McNabb but the latter had more success. Lamar is fun, but imagine how hallowed Vick would be (like AI as in 76ers) if'he... Got to a SB... As far a decent person like Brooks Robinson, Steve Young comes across almost to that level... Hardware and interpersonally, Steve Young was and is the best running QB right now in history...
