This gemstone is said to have originated in a mermaids treasure chest - and protected sailors and fishermen long before Jesus walked the earth. Aquamarine is a stone that has been used to protect people while traveling on the water since the ancient romans, it is also the birthstone for march, represents the planet Neptune in the zodiac chart and the name of this stone means 'sea-water' in latin.
Needless to say this stone brings you the energy of water, as well as the emotional freedom that can go with that flowing, mercurial energy of water.
