$10 on a Black Friday sale. Mine is from Black & Decker, either way it tale 20 minutes. Now for Brown rice use IP, much faster and better cook. I like brown Basmati.
Great comparison but it’s mentioned that the Duo Plus is available in 3quart and 8quart. I had to double check because I have a 6quart Duo Plus currently on order. Had me worried.
Many models are some only 6 and 8 quart. I use 6 quart and have extra liners. I could even run 2 at once but have not done that yet. I have never needed more than the 6 quart can make.
Only their most popular models are in all three sizes. I still prefer 6 qt. Same for slow cookers, I got a smaller one on a Black Friday sale, I never use it, it has see 1 or 2 uses in over 5 years.
mine says its a instant pot 6qt duo plus but it has no Manual button (I did find out that the older models use the pressure cook button for this) or a keep warm button.(still don't know how to turn this off other than unplugging it or depressing the stop button...wth.
I don't ever see the Instant Post Max in these comparison videos. In fact, I don't even see it on the Instant Pot website. I also don't understand why the air frying lid fits all but their Instant Pot Max.
Voiceover from kids storytime channel..." then the unicorn n rainbow covered InstantPot huffed n puffed allllll of it's woooooshhy boooooshy steam alllll out....and the happy lil cookery mouse lived happily ever after!!!! Yay!!!! "
Depends, I am not planning to remodel the kitchen soon so I got a Duo Crisp which so I can do convection baking faster than my convection microwave. I already had an Ultra. For newbies, a Duo version, for people that do more I use my Ultra more currently. The may change once I try the crisper.
@@relaxingcooking2993 most of the other models all come with cool presets. The Crisp line, you lose a lot of those, like the yogurt and egg buttons. With the lid, you get the presets plus the five settings unique to the air fryer function.
@@KariIzumi1 I thought that I could maybe adjust the cooking time in other programs like slow cooker for yogurt or aI don't know what for eggs 😁 The issue for me right now that instant pot pro plus separate lid will cost much more that like instant pot pro crisp
@@relaxingcooking2993 I have the duo and the duo crisp. You can use the sous vide function to make yogurt in the duo crisp. I don’t really use the presets on the duo because I feel that it’s not very accurate
@@pamelaleitman9200 I use a 'canner' pot. The IP is too small, 3 jars max. It also only gets to not high enough bars or something that does not meet the full FDA specs. I forget what but it is insufficient for vegetables and any pot works for jams.
Very informative video. For baking I prefer a conventional oven. However all will end up in landfill in the next decade. Hurrah to industrial Capitalism.
Depends if you take care of your pot. I tend to take care of my kitchen gadgets and equipment. I have a waffle iron that I got 25 years and and still use. My toaster oven is about 20 years old. My pots and utensils are about 25 years old. My Kitchen Aid mixer is about 18 years old. The Instant Pot seems heavy and well made. I figure I'll be using it until it eventually dies, if it ever does. I bought replacement seals and pins and heavy duty accessories to use in it. Clean it well, use it correctly, and don't abuse it, and it should last a while.
In saying that, I wouldn't make anything like cookies or cakes in this...I like crispy and browned baked goods. So I agree with you in that respect. Take care.
@@applegal3058 I have 50 year old knifes and hand mixer and convention / microwave from the 80's. All works fine. I also have Corelle dishes my mom used in the 60's that she gave me one year. I bought a bunch more only plain white but that was only 15 years ago. A few broke when dropped.
So helpful. Very clear, perfect speed and great visualization to keep track of the different models. Thank you very much.
You're very welcome!
I have both the Ultra and the newer Duo Crisp.
I just wanted rice lol

😅
Is Gourmet Crisp the latest model (Australia)? Price is lower than previous model.

Comprehensive and very informative review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
why in jeebus name are there this many different instant pots... is there just a "it does all the things!" version :)
Which ones can be turned off and on by Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi?
You can use a smart plug for this need
The Darth Vader of InstaPots!

Probably not Instant Pot SV either, I am returning it.
I'm looking for one, so this is good to know. Thank you😊
Exactly what I needed to know thanks!
Glad to hear it!
wth is a quart??
A US quart I believe is close 1 liter
0.9 litres
Go visit the 1930's
.9 liters but I guess that is too much math form you
It's a retarded U.S metric unit comparable to Litre.

You forgot to mention that the pro models have a flat bottom container.
Thank you!
The 9 in 1 comes in 6 qt. I have it.
So much one is the best?

Did not know there were so many different kinds 🤦🏾♀️..... I'm so confused
We hope the video helps!
5:10 The Pro Crisp doesn't have a bake setting
The Duo Crisp does, (Air, Roast, Bake, Broil and Dehydrate)
LOTS of details missing!
Honestly, if you’re debating between the regular or the crisp one, get the regular and buy the air fryer lid later
Why that? I considering to buy Duo Crisp, waiting for better deal

What about the Max?
Newer version of the Ultra, and black.
