Origami (折り紙, Japanese pronunciation: [oɾiɡami] or [oɾiꜜɡami], from ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper" (kami changes to gami due to rendaku)) is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. In modern usage, the word "origami" is used as an inclusive term for all folding practices, regardless of their culture of origin. The goal is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Modern origami practitioners generally discourage the use of cuts, glue, or markings on the paper. Origami folders often use the Japanese word kirigami to refer to designs which use cuts, although cutting is more characteristic of Chinese papercrafts.
The small number of basic origami folds can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The best-known origami model is the Japanese paper crane. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be of different colors, prints, or patterns. Traditional Japanese origami, which has been practiced since the Edo period (1603-1867), has often been less strict about these conventions, sometimes cutting the paper or using nonsquare shapes to start with. The principles of origami are also used in stents, packaging and other engineering applications.

This video is too fast. Should not be time-lapsed and is very hard to follow. Also, the paper is double sided so it makes it very hard to see which side needs to be folded. Please do not time lapse new videos it makes this very hard.

Man you've GOT to slow down, and show the steps more clearly. your speeding through each step made me have to pause and rewind multiple times just to see where you were folding, especially with the legs.

@@mr.easyorigamiart I have a direction you can go if you want to make it super clear but ultimately origami can be complicated and there is nothing wrong with that.
The hardest part is starting the feet because there is a lot of folds. I am not complaining because by going back a couple of times I understood well how it’s done and I am very new at this. Also this being a video it’s way easier to follow than step by step guide so great job I really apreciate :)
If you want to push it to the next level (and you really don’t have too I am just answering your question even though I did not make the first comment) you can briefly pause the video on complicated parts like that and overlay graphic lines on the lines that need to be folded with instructions to fold away or towards you (maybe color coded?) so the person can see more clearly what needs to be done.
But this might not help and it would require more editing and you really don’t have to do this it is just my take on it. I don’t expect that you do that especially since you put out videos frequently it’s a lot of work.
I made the lizard for my daughter and it’s really cool she loves it :)

This video was terrible. I tried slowing it down, but that did nothing. I couldn’t see any of the creases he was folding because his hands were in the way. That end bit was super annoying, I kept folding the wrong thing because his hands were in the way AGAIN. I slowed it down to 0.25 seconds and this was still disgraceful. Sorry, but you’re gonna need to practise moving your hands out the way bud. 😒
I'm very sorry that it didn't work out for you. I shot this video at the beginning of my channel. Back then I had a bad video camera and I was still not good at filming. I will re-edit this video and improve it.

not to be rude or anything but... i couldn't see any small details he was making cause his thumb was covering it and the second he finished it he would just hold it with a finger and I I just couldn't see the folds:( I even slowed it down and it was just really difficult because I couldn't see
Other than pausing it, you also can make the video a bit slower with the settings.
