Justin's Podcast is the best. Didn't really know anything about The Darkness here in the states I had seen them on TH-cam ,I had heard of them ...just didn't pay attention ... I started watching his podcast and I'm working backwards from there!
i think the fact he talked about male bulimia was incrediably brave never heard a man talk about it and i am sure it is much more prevelant than we know. i have eating disorders but all the help seems to be directed at women, incrediabley brave of him, love him
He was asked about it and had no choice. But what is this obsession with women trying to get men to share their personal problems with strangers? Every single asshole on the internet has a sob story and it's not brave, it's narcissistic. You do't actually care about other peoples' problems, you just dont want to be the only one who's not dealing with it on their own. And from personal experience, when men open up women just poke at the wound.
The stomach acid would mess up your vocal chords… Besides predispose you to other oesophageal diseases like cancer. It bloody well should be talked about if you’re a singer.
Big time. I've gone back and forth my entire life (currently thin again) and it's a mindfuck. The way you carry yourself, your confidence and social projection becomes skewed. It's something guys don't talk about as they're "not supposed to care" many of us do.

I' ve gone through the major extremes myelf with bulima/ extreme weight gain / los s and the horrid effects it can have on tbe teeth etc and thinking back to the 80' s I know for a fact some of my male mates who were in rock bands had similar demons and men just shut up and put up in tnose days ..we all hid so much through heavy drug use in the 80' s & 90' s especially amphetamines...We all looked fantastic ..now paying the price big time 30 yrs on.Really hope M you continue to beat your demons ..we NEED you here a good while yet ;) 🤘

80's* Looking outside of personal taste, 80's was FULL of manufactured clones and identical sounding shit, that was the real start of it The 90's had identical sounding Rock bands, the only real highlights I guess were some decent grunge bands like Pearl Jam and Garbage but even then, the vocalists had no identity Early 00's when Pop Punk blew up was a good time, because even though everyone was the same it was still upbeat. So, since the 80's, the only good thing to happen to the charts was Pop Punk because it was catchy, upbeat, AND they wrote and played themselves. Individuality will never come back tho.
