Oh my goodness. I'd normally watch the entire tutorial before commenting, but just the demo of this effect is absolutely stunning. Beautiful creative work on its own. Just the first 1:18 minutes are incredible. This isn't just next level. This is next dimension. This is gorgeous, it's something I'd be impressed with as a production company brand reveal at the start of a AAA blockbuster movie.
Ok, watched the tutorial. To quote Sealab 2021 "It feels like a koala just crapped a rainbow into my brain". Brilliant tutorial showing so many in depth aspects of E3D and the camera in AE. Just seeing what can be done if you know what you're doing is inspiring here. The end result is gorgeous. But it's also not lost on me that the actual operation of AE here is almost flawless, you barely make one single misclick. You do so much, and you nail every single aspect of it. This is creative, educational, inspiring, and incredibly impressive operation.
LIES!! at 1:18 there is absolutely nothing on the screen.

I miss After Effects. I remember doing a classmate's Fourth Year After Effects project for her, amidst packing to vacate the University Hostels. She was hopeless at it. I had barely had AE on my laptop for 5 months, between classes and Exams,... And yet I was really good at it.
Until I got a job. We only used Corel& Illustrator. And just like that AE and I part ways. Time to get back to doing a bit of fun.
having issues with textures not loading into e3d. when i make the new material it doesnt pick up the custom texture it just stays white and shows 0,0 resolution.... any solutions??
