They wanted to charge $100 at the dealership just to look at this issue for me, so i have gone years without a horn. Thank you for this video! Just found it today and was able to fix the horn myself for free! 🙏
Best Mechanic yet on Ford Focus horn. He shows the easiest way to access horn. My horn terminals where black in color cleaned the terminals with navel jelly, brake clean off than lubed.
thank you!!! I was able to fix my car issue with this. They unplugged it while working on my vehicle and never plugged it back in from my experience they were probably hoping I'd call them back so they could do nothing again and give me a bill. thank you again:)
What if the connector is not making a tight connection and stops working if it shifts slightly? I disconnected and reconnected and it worked but after driving it the horn stopped working again.
Do I need to disconnect or unplug my battery to do this? I feel like this is my issue cause my bumper hit a curb recently, but I’m scared of electricity lol
@@larasgarage2021 I need to mention I was told it would be $400 to fix my horn plus labor. I think it may be this because there is a bump where I'm supposed to park that has knocked loose the trim on the bumper where the horn is located.

Yeah, the connector is loose...I'll suggest use electrical grease for a good contact, and try to secure connector with a zip tie. That should work.
Right on thx 🙏
Great!! 🙏 you're welcome 😎
Thanks!
Thanks brother 🙏
So if the lock/unlock button clicks , the relay is ok ??
You will hear a clicking noise coming from the realy when u press the lock/unlock button on ur remote. If u hear it, relay is good

No need to disconnect battery. Its only 12 volts running in your car. So its nothing. It wont hurt u 😉
Also, if it is this, I get to go yell at people! Loudly.
😅😅😅
