Just came to revisit one of the best endings ever. Still can’t believe this came out years ago.
Unfortunately,, it's underrated.

I just remembered that I watched the anime years ago. I don't have any memories of the anime though, but I do remember a subway accident, demons (well, duh), and questionable phones. However, this ending was so good and impactful that it made me remember that this exists.
If you want to go through it you should try the game I recommend the 3ds remake "Record Breaker" since it adds an expansion of the story and voice acting.

Devil survivor 2, such a good anime kinda sad when you see the people removed from the outro when they die.
I think that is one of the best parts of the anime
David Taylor it is a good part but i struggle to hold back the tears because of how sad it is ;(.

just rewatched the anime after two years.. the last ep when Hibiki met Yamato after the world was back again, actually had me in tears. I wish Alcor and Hibiki had met too, at the end... damn nostalgia :’D

I mean alcor is a septentrion while resetting the world does bring them back as seen with the triangulum they can't enter the world unless polaris or canopus gives the order.

+LYK Terran I wouldn't say it was terrible, just not so good. It focused on the action far too much, while it's not what the game is about (the game is such a masterpiece, it's a pity), but if you don't take the original into account, the anime is decent.

As a anime it was decent the problem as an adaptation of the game it was pretty shitty, ignoring many game mechanics and story points not to mentio the lack of strong demons from everybody was kinda boring too
@@SandKing2012 well it does punish players who doesn't try to strategize/learn the game. Including me I was like wtf few days later.
I love both the game and anime personally granted the game is hard because of some of the mechanics but it was still good. The anime is good for those who just want to know what Shin Megami Tensei is kind of about so they can get into it. But remember to play the Remakes they have voice actors and to play devil survivor overclocked before devil survivor 2 record breaker. Please don't compare the two, they are stand alone. They r both good. 😊

i remember playing the game, then losing it half way through the game (i was devastated and angry) then watching the anime and thinking it would be the same, then episode 5, i'm astounded and watched hotsuin and this song playing in the background. I love this song
