Add Kim's stunning voice and a great video, and the Supreme one just fades into the ether, which is where it was anyway. The fact it went to No.1 means nothing. An American act with the over-inflated support of their country people. So what? It's barely worthy of a Top 30 entry. It's so unimportant that even Kim didn't know the song well when her brother first raised the idea. It wasn't hard to make a completely new and far better version of it-most of the best 80s acts could do it, but Kim just rules it. Most covers suck up to the originals badly, making their right to exist entirely dubious at best, with this, the opposite is almost true of the original. So, apart from a slip in 1990 and 1995, Kim's musical style is all hers and generally she's ahead of the game. This covers rock AND pop. The 1st barely covers motown!

I stayed strong BC after so long of trying to go to anything else but god they all failed me so I held on to god as the reason let me skip to now and say I started off faithless now I'm so faithful in god I started off worried for my future now I know its something gods gonna handle I'm not feeling depressed anymore the whole year of 2022 was hard but with god I made it threw! The fact that the 1st one was so dated, badly sung and nothing of the attitude it was supposed to have made it prime material of only the best to make something worthwhile out of it. Most covers suck up to the originals badly, making their right to exist entirely dubious at best, with this, the opposite is almost true of the original. So, apart from a slip in 1990 and 1995, Kim's musical style is all hers and generally she's ahead of the game. This covers rock AND pop. The 1st barely covers motown!
