Wow, it's those "Party like it's 1939!" Standard Gauge guys!
Man, those trains are so gorgeous it breaks your heart to look at them.
    Thanks Shawn!

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I know you are an O gauge guy but I started collecting standard gauge last year and this video is awesome. There is a lot of stuff in this video I have never seen before, so cool. I will probably never be able to travel for stuff like this but I’m glad you can. Thank you

Although I'm a O gauge guy I do appreciate and include other scales. I know the members in this club and they are highly talented. The reason why you haven't seen most of these trains is because most of them are one off custom runs. Members who use milling machines, lathes and other equipment to create the wonderful trains. The club is very impressive which is why I try to get them on video when they are at a show.

What manufacturer is making some of these items, besides the obvious Lionel/MTH stuff? Who makes that large articulated etc???

Great question. Most of the trains that you are seeing are hand built by very talented members using lathes, milling machines, etc. So they are one off custom runs. Their work is extremely good and looks like a factory build. I feel as though the members could start their own hand built standard gauge company.
