one thing i noticed is that every three-element ethereal so far has had some kind of reference to the number three in their design, blarret has three mouths, gaddzooks has three eyes and three mouths, auglur has three hands, yooreek has three sets of limbs, and meebkin has three fingers
We've been seeing so many expansions to things recently, Seasonals, Mythicals, relic usage, key usage, zapping, every Fire monster in the main game, and now, more Ethereals. Wow.
Nearly every class already got expanded in some way Naturals-mimic Fires-Amber island Magicals-Magical sanctum Ethereals-Ethereal workshop Seasonals-Seasonal shanty Dipsters-Magical islands Mythicals-Mythical island Supernatural (wubbox and wublins)-epic wubbox, rare wublins Celestials-celestial ascension Legendaries got nothing, Sadly.
Auglur’s final verse is genuinely one of the most beautiful sounding monster sounds they’ve done. Like, it sounds so pretty! This might be my new favorite island just because of how pretty that verse is alone.

One thing to point out: In today’s update showcase, they unfortunately revealed that new Ethereals will NOT be coming biweekly. We’ll likely be seeing a new one every month or so. Disappointing, yes, but BBB is kind of stretching themselves a bit thin atm. Rare Wublins, Adult Celestials, Rare and Epic Seasonals, Rare and Epic Fires, Rare Mythicals, and Rare Magicals, as well as new Seasonal decorations and possibly new Seasonal Costumes, and maybe even some DoF updates, as well as the secret Dave Kerr thing, which the handlers teased is not Workshop related. BBB is spoiling us, but this special treatment is coming at a price, sadly. Be patient guys.

This island is taking an amazing approach. It’s music style is completely unique, no other island uses that genre of music. Edit: some people say that the genre is similar to wublin island….. I don’t see it. Edit: I just realized that the “eyes” on top of the stalks of gadzooks are actually mouths

Dear mpg, your videos are amazing and it’s exciting to hear Ethereal Workshop! I know it sounds very jazzy, and attuning meebs are quite hard! It’s very nice to see Mee s to make monsters while spending shards! I love the meebs in Ethereal Workshop everywhere. Meebkin is very well prepared for free so no attuning like the trailer it attunes itself.

This is the only island where I’ve had theories *in my head* about something insanely cool happening on that and then reminding myself “that’s way too far fetched for the game.” And then it just actually did those instead of not.
My Singing Monsters: Zarroë’s Inside Story- I mean *_Ethereal Workshop_* is looking, and sounding pretty promising for what we have so far, and it’s beginning to be my new favorite over Mythical island! I love the bizarre appearances of each of the plasma starting triples we have currently, and it truly shows the unstableness of each, and every one of them, especially to Gaddzooks, and Yooreek! Also, you know it’s been a long time since having a new island if you forget that the castle doesn’t produce a bass sound, unless if you upgrade it to the 2nd tier.😅 (the only exceptions to this are Shugabush, gold, Amber, and Composer Island of course.) Speaking of the castle, r.i.p its new updated individual sounds video for today.😅
Unfortunately, new monsters will not come to this island often. On their stream today they said new monsters will come around as often as new Mythical monsters did

I love the animations on these guys SO MUCH! I was soooo excited to hear the song and omg it is INCREDIBLE! Yooreek is probably my favorite, maybe Auglur too!
This may not be the case, but I think how chaotic these monster look and sound, and by extension how this new island sounds, can be attributed to the highly unstable process of which these monsters are made. And honestly? I'm all for these new change of pace.
I really like the detail of the eyes in the background of the island know this is really happening inside the colossal. Gotta love the attention to detail.

God! This island took me by suprise! Tbh when I first saw the teasers it looked a little bit to ai to me… but now that I am seeing them sing is quite frankly, mind blowing! I love how wacky this island is! Very different from the calm ethereal island! Calm on the outside, crazy in the inside!

an idea i got for a triple ethereal, is one that is based on the concepts of the mirror world, using mirrors to create sounds similar to geeode, but more so like drawing your finger on the ring of a wine glass
If you listen to the background Music you can hear distant monsters making sounds and vocalizing (heavily recommend mutting castle and monsters as it’s really quiet)
The element combos we'll be getting are as follows: Triples: Plasma, Shadow, Mech(Yooreek) Plasma, Shadow, Crystal(Meebkin) Plasma, Shadow, Poison(Blarret) Plasma, Mech, Crystal(Gaddzooks) Plasma, Mech, Poison(Auglur) Plasma, Crystal, Poison(???) Shadow, Mech, Crystal(???) Shadow, Mech, Poison(???) Shadow, Crystal, Poison(???) Mech, Crystal, Poison(???) Quads: Plasma, Shadow, Mech, Crystal(????) Plasma, Shadow, Mech, Poison(????) Auglur is based of the "dreamcore/weirdcore" aesthetic, i believe. One eyed, angel wings, connection to nostalgia, its pretty obvious.

Monster Handler Matt had a “theory” and he said that Yooreek might have gotten its sounds from when Galvana made the Wubbox.
The synthesizer's help menu shows that it will have a whopping 5(!) levels, the last of which looks like it has a second synthesis chamber
