Dear Ly: I pray God bless you always. I really enjoy your videos about your journey. Especially watching your boy grow. Ly. You little boy is growing before our eyes. He is already in school. Yet, he does not know how to eat by himself or even dress or bathe himself. Important life skills for a little boy. I realize that I am only a subscriber. But since I have worked in a school. With children having speech, and developmental delays. I am concerned, that has skipped many of the milestones. He does not seem to speak sentences. He is still speaking words. Maybe he is two. But at three and four. Their vocabulary has formed into sentences. Have developmental abilities to put a straw in their milk. Peel fruit. And eat for themselves. They even tell you when they need to go to the restroom. Wash and change when they have an accident. The more he does. The more hand eye coordination, the better. He needs to get messy. Dirty and be a tumble boy. Have Xabi play rough with him. So he can be more stable and learn to balance better. It’s a thought. Please. I mean this message for the best of intentions. I know you are mom. Part of bring a mother of a boy, is to let him get tough and tumble. He needs to chase ducks. And play with the dog do it will catch a stick . He can learn to plant in his own garden. That he can tend to. Teach him to float and maybe swim. All the life skills you think he can be introduced to and later use with practice. I pray my message is welcome. If you are walking him to school. Allow him to walk it. Even if he gets dirty. That’s what a change of clothes is for. We all had to do it in our lifetime. Don’t try to make life easier. For him nor yourself. Time goes fast. They grow so fast. It’s our job as mothers to prepare them. The world is competitive. Men most of all.
