If the upper bodies are 30 cm apart, it just does not look intimate for me and the intimacy in tango dance is so beautiful. Of course the connection between leading and following is excellent.

I certainly don't have the level of L&G, but I certainly interpret it with a lot more extroversion and expression than I would dance a di Sarli or a Fresedo. So yes, this is very much real tango, just an exaggerated exhibition.
It's not about intimacy or distance in this case - they simply dance waltz like romance, easy-sweet and this is strong PuGliese... They dance just rhythm, not the essence of the Pugliese. I love this couple very much, but they don't have Pugliese energy
