Pastor , I have watched the program the da7ys of noah. And the ending is Jesus coming in fire.as that of 2nd Peter. And that we go through the 7 last plagues. This has got me very confused. Iam now wanting an explation for the fire .because it say he come in the clouds .
If the close of probation has already occurred, what then is Satan's objective in counterfeiting our Saviour's return? I mean, really, why bother? Can somebody please explain this.
Matt 25:10 is the close of probation - the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in Rev 19:7-9 the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready Rev 20:4-6 and which had not worshipped the beast in fact, this is Gods judgement on the last day(Rev 19:11-21) not an investigative judgement and the "close of probation" is on the last day(John 6:40) not before. Matt 25:11-12 is the second resurrection. Rev 20:4 Dan 7:8-14, 22, 26-27
I would respectfully disagree. Satan will appear before probation closes. 17 LtMs 153, 1902, Par 9 - "In the last days Satan will APPEAR as an angel of light, with great power and heavenly glory, and claim to be the lord of the whole earth. Then will take place the final fulfilment of the Revelator’s prophecy: Rev 13:4 “They worshiped the dragon(visible satan) which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast." (Revelation 13:4 happens before the COP) AND 2 Selected Messages, 50.4 "We are warned that in the last days he (satan) will work with signs and lying wonders. And he will continue these wonders UNTIL the close of probation, that he may point to them as evidence that he is an angel of light and not of darkness." AND GC 589.1 (Chapter 36) "Through spiritualism, Satan APPEARS as a benefactor of the race, healing the diseases of the people, and professing to present a new and more exalted system of religious faith; but at the same time he works as a destroyer." GC 589.3 "While APPEARING to the children of men as a great physician who can heal all their maladies, he will bring disease and disaster, until populous cities are reduced to ruin and desolation." (Both of the above quotes are before chapter 39 in the GC) The analogy that satan tries to take the new Jerusalm when he knows he cannot therefore he will attempt to deceive the sealed elect, after the COP when he knows he cannot, does not hold water for me. One involves deception, the other destruction. To say that satan attempts to deceive the elect after the COP just because he is satan makes no sense. satan is intelligent he knows the times and will absolutly conterfiet Christ's coming BEFORE the COP.
