Well done. Looks like a great job. Love the colour and that you put steel wheels on it too. I think the 912 is much underrated. A better handling car than a 911 from the same era due to the lighter engine hanging out there over the back. And with a bit of tuning work to release more horses, not that much slower either. Hope the owner enjoys driving it on sunny evenings.
In a test in a French magazine of the time, I read that this engine consumed 3 litres of oil per 1000 km. I wonder if this is normal. The specific power is good, but it does not reach the values of competition engines. Does the unit in the video consume that much oil? The test can be found in the references of the German Wikipedia article on the Porsche 912.
Well, quite nice! There is just one no Go! Windshieldwipers in black and wrong mounted. That makes no sense by someone trying so hard to do a detailed resoration, sorry but you missed out big time
Love the car and the guitar music !!
Beautiful car. Thank you for sharing.
Very cool!
Gorgeous. Love the interior.
Beautiful. Everything you have done on this restoration is what I would do, and perfectly executed. Well done 👍
Wow great resto, amazing interior work & love the Grey colour

You should have made the interior original, ie. seats, steering wheel, gauge cluster etc.
Why? He could’ve if he wanted to. Probably a better driver now. I think that car is gorgeous. Plus, those gauges are original to the car.
You can do that to your one when you build it 😂
The interior look like a disco. What a stuffed up in the colour schemes. Why not keep to the original design??
Yes would have been much better in the original vinyl poverty trim 🤔
"the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition." - Merriam Webster. Beautiful job but refurbishment, not restoration.
Agree. Too many alterations to be a restoration. But, a gorgeous refurbishment.
All that work and you put in those uncomfortable seats.
Ah yes, the 912, the vintage equivalent of a v6 mustang
O diálise this gray, horrible color.
Thanks for the feedback
