The pacing for bengals madden series like this feels great where he plays all 17 nfl season games then off season, so maybe 16-17 episodes max before the off season is good if you make it that far
Great video, Kenny. Here's a few ideas on how to keep the series alive. First you're playing too many games. Realistically you only need to play 5-6 important games per season, so as to not burn yourself or the audience out of the series. Second, I would suggest creating some narratives or adding a very specific goal to your series to stop it from feeling aimless. "Win a championship" is too broad. A better 'goal' would be 'Solving the guard logjam' or 'Finding De'Aaron a costar'. These are interesting goals because they are controversial as in they are something the audience can disagree and debate on and they're something you really have to think about. "Win a championship" is a bad 'goal' because (1) everyone agrees on that (2) the path to 'winning a championship' is convoluted and very variable so the series is more all-over-the-place. On the topic of the video itself, I don't think you should trade Buddy just for the sake of trading him, his shooting is very valuable. The C rotation is looking kinda weak, I think this team would benefit greatly from Nerlens Noel and since the Knicks have Mitchell Robinson they might be open to trading him

But i wouldn't say that you're playing too many games... i think the 1 per week or every other week works (1) for more content (2) only playing 5 or 6 games would be boring. I would look to upgrade my starting SF and work on the Center rotation like my guy above said. Nerlens would be a decent fit. Maybe Royce O'Neal at SF? and look for a better fit off the bench to help Davion.... Nickiel A - Walker???

Couple that with the playoffs which he's presumably gonna play most games in if not all. That means each season will be around 15-20 episodes at least which is just too much. With the length of these episodes, if this series goes past 30-40 episodes it's too long.

And if he’s going to keep it realistic, it’s going to take a while. If you can’t buckle up and appreciate a long series, go to his other channels!
I gotta say, this has got to be one of the most realistic series on NBA 2K TH-cam. Kings getting killed on the boards, losing to the bad teams but beating good ones, weird depth besides at the guard spots, Buddy and Bagley on the trading block and Fox/Hali as untouchables. Hi Kenny, for the rotation Timeline, you can use positions mode as opposed to paint mode (down at the bottom) it’s a bit easier you can break the minutes down into chunks and move them between players
check out Mr. Hurricane's Madden Franchise series. He has to be one of the best content creators for franchise mode across all games. I think the key is keeping up with the league along with your team. And if you get bored with playing as the kings you can always keep the same franchise file but take over a different team.
I just got a great idea. FaceTime tyrese and ask him to give you one player he would like to play with, and you gotta trade for em at some point in the series

For advanced rotations: play 6-10 minute stretches to limit fatigue. Make sure you have scorers in for primary and secondary lineups. Also your starters should be closing the first half instead of the bench unit. When I do this I only play my stars 32 - 36 minutes a game in the regular season. Example I’ll play Steph until 10 minuets in the first quarter then I’ll sub him back in at the 6 minute mark in the second. I do the same thing in the second half that I do in the first half. I also have two rotations; my regular rotation and my minutes restriction rotation: Steph plays 36 minutes regularly and 28 in my minutes restriction rotation. Save the rotations so you don’t have to reset them when you make trades and whatnot

It's named after Iverson because the Sixers spammed it to get Iverson open looks, although he caught it in the midrange a lot, and today it's used to get guards open looks past the three point line.

I feel the most important thing to make a series not go stale is storylines. The best example I have if flemloraps when hi did ncaa football 14 dynasty series after he rebuilt his team he would create storylines within the series.

A few suggestions for what more you could do in the future with this series: -simcasting more games and if it's a close game, jumping in *just to watch* -going around the list and creating your own unofficial "target list" -if possible (i haven't played much myNBA yet) maybe watching or playing a G-league game? or sending a young player (woodard, king, etc.) to the G-league -after playing a few more games, maybe changing the shot tendencies a bit to mirror how you play, so the difference between sim play and game play isn't too different -maybe have a look at scouting so we can see some of the prospects you could target in the draft Again, super cool idea and I can't wait for more. Inspired me to do a similar sort of save with the Pacers! Sure to be a lot of fun
Kenny, if you don't want to play a full game you should try simcast live. You can still watch what happens and use instant replay while making coaching adjustments too. You can also speed it up and fit two games in a video. Keep up the awesome series!
Yo Kenny, Ice done a LOT of myleague and I think a good way to go quick and still have a control over the games is : Sim cast every game and get in the games when its close in the 3rd or 4rt quarter. 3rd is you want to play with the bench and 4rt if you want to go quicker. If its a blow out, just skip it. Edit* Also have games on 12minutes and normalized stats off
Hey Kenny if the play you run doesn't work out, you can hold Triangle or Y and the nearest player will make a quick cut to the basket, usually helps when there's a few seconds left to make a shot.
