True, when invincible started to be a hero, it was like a few days of getting them, and the whole point of the show is to see Mark's journey of learning about being a hero
Invincible does become really really strong. Like most good superheroes he’s holding back cause he’s scared to kill. The one time he doesn’t hold back and listens to his dad he starts beating ass. Same thing with Spider-Man. When he doesn’t hold back the dude can stop a punch from the hulk. It’s every hero’s weakness. If Batman didn’t hold back man would be an unstoppable force and Arkham Asylum wouldn’t have a breakout every 3 months

Batman's refusal to kill comes from an incredibly strict principle. He witnessed his parents get gunned down and while that is the surface of his refusal to kill and use guns since (I remember watching the animated film Batman: Under the Red Hood, one of the lines in the final fight was I think Jason asking why Joker was still alive. Batman said it would be too easy, meaning that if he ever killed, he wouldn't be able to go back or stop. Batman's restraint from killing when all points to a villain's permanent end making everything easier is truly admirable. Also, a character/superhero doesn't need to kill to be a truly terrifying and formidable foe. As a writer, it's far more terrifying when you create a character who is not only principled but knows they could take a life and it is only by their mercy that a villain continues to live.
@@winternightst7001 Hence why I say it is admirable his restraint. Anyone else might give in and actually kill the Joker...provided he stay dead. We go back to principle here. If Batman crosses that line, he runs the risk of becoming as reckless and murderous as the villains he fights which I think is also a good point in Batman's entire arc. Joker represents complete insanity and the extremes a person without morals will go to, a person who does not value life. Joker is the direct contrast to Batman and his morals and a reminder of what he could potentially become if he decided to start killing villains and making them suffer through every horrible ordeal they put innocent people through. We know Batman's not a perfectly sane character which is why, as frustrating as it is that Joker still lives despite his thousands of insane atrocities, it's crazy that Batman still shows restraint. It indicates that as horrible as the villains may be, Batman knows what he is capable of, and what he can become if he ever crossed that line.
Ngl for Batman I’m fine with him not killing, that’s fine and respectable. It’s just the fact that bro basically tries to enforce his no killing in Gotham, like you try and come through and kill Gotham villains Batman’s gonna come after you like your one of them. Like spiderman also doesn’t kill but atleast he doesn’t chase down every hero in New York any time they kill anyone.
I mean it's not like this dude is defending the Joker in court, he should've been got the death penalty already. People say Batman's a fraud but forget that the police *who get paid to catch these guys* fail and then after the justice system fails to do it's one job (enacting justice) the murderers and criminals just break out again.
To be fair to Invincible, when he was struggling with the reanimen, it’s because they were extremely strong and he wasn’t too experienced at the time, and they even managed to keep Omni-Man occupied for some time. When he lost to his father, his father was one of the greatest and strongest Viltrumite Soldiers of the empire, with thousands of years of fighting experience. And when he lost to Battle Beast, he is canonically possibly the strongest being in the universe, who fought the strongest Viltrumite while he had his own guts falling out from the start, and almost killed him in a fight that lasted for days. Also he’s new at being a hero so he’s still learning how to fight and he gets stronger with age, so his powers are basically a watered down version of what they are going to be in the future. 🤓
Batman not killing villains is the reason I don't consider him a good superhero anymore. At least Metropolis and Central City have a low crime rate. At least Spiderman will go out of his way to beat the ever loving shit out of Kingpin before threatening to kill him in Jail (Also, he's broken his code many times when it was necessary). Even Goku of all people will kill his opponents if necessary.
The thing about Batman not killing is that if he actually does do the deed, then he won’t be able to stop himself and one day he might kill innocent people because “it’s justice.” He’s afraid of becoming the same kind of monster that killed his parents.
This isn’t injustice universe, tons of people have killed to save their lives in reality and went through ten times worse than what Batman ever did and none of these people ever became crazy mass murderers
so according to the lore and to keep it short, tom and jerry are actually friends but tom pretends to catch him so his owner doesnt replace him with a cat who will kill jerry
Honestly I respect your opinion on invincible, personally I don't think he's a fraud and is just a teenager who got powers and is trying to take on a little much at once but I can see where you're coming from.
One of the worst tropes in writing is the “I don’t kill my villains” one. Seriously, when mark fought the gilt Viltrumites why did he hesitate to kill one? I am so glad that adult mark is different
People might see it as hypocritical when a character called Invincible gets dogged on so much but that isn't really the point. He's been beaten to an inch of his life, bones broken and shed a lot of blood. And the show hasn't even got into the crazy stuff yet. The beatdown his dad gave him is nothing compared to what happens to him in the comics. But after all that, he still holds true to his beliefs despite everything the world threw at him, his body has been broken dozens of his times. His spirit and morality never did. In that aspect he's truly Invincible.
Bro every time Batman kills someone he becomes a psycho 😭. It’s probably better for Gotham that the villains stay alive because every time Batman kills one of them shi gets wild
Dude, in Gotham City, it's not even just Batman. u got to worry about it's the amount of other psychopathic criminals out there that could get u before you even commit a crime in the first place😂
Exactly. In my opinion, people overanalyze it. You don't have to agree with a certain character and his believes to like him. You might've done something different, sure. There are multiple reasons why Batman doesn't kill, ranging from psychological to moral, it's been deeply explored in DC comics and other DC media.
If he ain't gonna 'Finish the job', then why become a vigilante. Fuck on outta here, with your Logic. If you ain't gonna do what needs to be done, then don't dare to spend billions of money on gadgets, costumes, child labor and shit and letting innocent people die cuz you got "StanDArDS".
This is why i love the SWAT Kats. They absolutely acknowledge the fact their villains have a high body count and commited too many crimes. They never hesitated to kill their villains Ben 10 as well. He hasn't actually killed anyone (not from what i remember) but he absolutely will if necessary
3:27 nah bro invincible is about him growing and becoming a superhero. It would be hella boring in every superhero movie/show the main character was OP and had no struggles. You especially can’t complain when he lost to his dad who’s a full viltrumite that has had thousands of years of fighting experience
Not to mention that there is a spin off book series of doawk where Rowley has his own journal and Greg acts More cynical and claiming that he Stole his idea.
The reason invincible is losing most of the time is because he’s fighting people who are stronger and more capable than him like in season 2 when he and Omni man were fighting the other viltrumites Omni man was on their skill level if not higher but invincible is basically a novice so he had a much harder time fighting the viltrumites. But hey that’s just a theory a viltrumite theory

First off: thank you. I always knew there was always something wrong with Batman's "No kill" policy. The only reason more people are taking notice is because of a certain series called My Hero Academia. To those who don't know, the entire society of MHA uses Batman's "no kill" policy, but since it's on a larger scale, people can almost immediately see everything wrong with it. The main problem being: the heroes create the villains. The reasons might be different but the end result is the same. In MHA, the heroes get paid for every villain they capture, so they make the villains. There's no consequence of death since they got rid of the death penalty, so it feels as though villainous acts are encouraged. Think about it, if you wanted to be a villain and do whatever you wanted with your quirk, you could do so knowing that you won't get executed, no matter how many people you slaughter. And when you get caught, you know it's only a matter of time before someone on the outside plans a prison break, which did happen in the series. Batman does it for his moral code, but every time the Joker or someone else escapes, that's about a dozen people straight up dead. That's another person's life completely snuffed out. That's possibly even another parent/parents who won't make it back home, and that leaves another child to feel the same way as Bruce. There's no such thing as perfection. Intent is but one of the few things that separates the rational man from the irrational.
I feel like this happens every time a villain turns into a good guy, as soon as they turn good they’re weak asf

admirable? yeah, tell that to the children in the hospital the joker blew up for the 546th time
@@winternightst7001 That's not his fault tell the cops or the government to kill Joker.
@@winternightst7001death sentence bro. its not batmans fault, its the fault of whoever thought to keep joker alive all this time
just look at the injustice universe. as flawed as it is, you gotta admit that it portrays how correct batmans idealogy is with superman being nutso
Ngl for Batman I’m fine with him not killing, that’s fine and respectable. It’s just the fact that bro basically tries to enforce his no killing in Gotham, like you try and come through and kill Gotham villains Batman’s gonna come after you like your one of them. Like spiderman also doesn’t kill but atleast he doesn’t chase down every hero in New York any time they kill anyone.
nah spider man kills he just doesn't do it that much (in the comics)
Tbh a hero who DOES kill wouldn’t fix Gotham either (that town is cursed in some universes)
@@ahmedjoycesneakattacksquad5003 Spider-Man's no kill rule is just as bad as Batman's so is Superman's
wait doesn't superman also kill tho?@@callmejacob3234
I mean it's not like this dude is defending the Joker in court, he should've been got the death penalty already. People say Batman's a fraud but forget that the police *who get paid to catch these guys* fail and then after the justice system fails to do it's one job (enacting justice) the murderers and criminals just break out again.
It’s always good when Tommy uploads. (RIP afro, you will be missed)
I mean for Batman, the authorities just have to give the death sentence and we have no more problems.
Tommy just doesn't understand the lore of these characters, its part of their character
Exactly
So?
@dylhansime9582 so why isn't Spiderman a fraud he doesn't kill his villains either and he has no good excuse for it
@@redninja3056 he’d be as bad as the man who killed his uncle, girlfriend and I believe at some point his aunt
@@mrukman2006 Damn so like, fuck Martha and Thomas then?
The thing about Batman not killing is that if he actually does do the deed, then he won’t be able to stop himself and one day he might kill innocent people because “it’s justice.” He’s afraid of becoming the same kind of monster that killed his parents.
This isn’t injustice universe, tons of people have killed to save their lives in reality and went through ten times worse than what Batman ever did and none of these people ever became crazy mass murderers
That's really his problem. And apart from that he tries to stop OTHERS from doing what is necessary
@@kyledeguzman165Except this isn't injustice he's referring to. The mainline Batman has said this before.
so according to the lore and to keep it short, tom and jerry are actually friends but tom pretends to catch him so his owner doesnt replace him with a cat who will kill jerry

You do realize Tom has tried to kill Jerry MULTIPLE TIMES, so comparing him to Batman is 100% unfair.
8:00 That’s not true on rare occasions Tom has some W’s
Bro every time Batman kills someone he becomes a psycho 😭. It’s probably better for Gotham that the villains stay alive because every time Batman kills one of them shi gets wild
The lion dude in invincible is like the second strongest being in the universe sooo.
The real reason is 1:48 that Batman doesn’t kill because he know he’ll never stop killing
Dude, in Gotham City, it's not even just Batman. u got to worry about it's the amount of other psychopathic criminals out there that could get u before you even commit a crime in the first place😂

Oh man. I totally agree with you on Batman. Gothem is a train wreck because Batman hasn’t killed a single one of those dangerous people
Greg is down bad as hell
For Part 2 maybe included Dr. Neo Cortex,Eggman, or Plankton. I know there villians but still.
Batman been a fraud like Gotham has been through hell and back
Batman killing his villains would be like a firefighter killing an arsonist. Like, bro him killing ain’t the job he signed up for
They never hesitated to kill their villains
Ben 10 as well. He hasn't actually killed anyone (not from what i remember) but he absolutely will if necessary
Mihawk not being here is a crime to society.

I swear to god bro, star wars loves making fraudulent villains. I can name like 5 rn.
3:27 nah bro invincible is about him growing and becoming a superhero. It would be hella boring in every superhero movie/show the main character was OP and had no struggles. You especially can’t complain when he lost to his dad who’s a full viltrumite that has had thousands of years of fighting experience
Tell that his fathers victims.
Penguin uses exotic birds to steal things.
Not to mention that there is a spin off book series of doawk where Rowley has his own journal and Greg acts
More cynical and claiming that he Stole his idea.
I’ve always hated that Batman didn’t kill at least the worst ones.🙄
The reason invincible is losing most of the time is because he’s fighting people who are stronger and more capable than him like in season 2 when he and Omni man were fighting the other viltrumites Omni man was on their skill level if not higher but invincible is basically a novice so he had a much harder time fighting the viltrumites. But hey that’s just a theory a viltrumite theory
Meanwhile John Wick, The Punisher and Rambo and Alex Mercer and Spawn: You Guys Don't Know How To Kill?

I hate the doesn’t kill u heroes
That’s why i always support the villain 😤
The more I grow older and colder the more I despise Batman 😂
