Warren played with the Allman Brothers, Warren Haynes Band, Gov't Mule, individually, and with many others. He is one of the greatest guitarists still living. His covers are better than many originals. He is a good man, truly gifted, and one of the hardest working musicians around. He is a wonderful songwriter. All Warren has to do is whistle. that guitar goes running. I've been listening to him since he he was young. Long live Warren Haynes. Love ya. Melanie
Man y'all need to lighten up. Its meant as a tribute,or a honor to AC/DC. Only so many songs these two can do together. And Warren can play circles around anybody but not many can match Myles voice
Myles Kennedy--singing and/or playing guitar, with Alter Bridge, Slash/GNR at RNR Hall of Fame induction, Zeppelin boys, Gov't Mule, et. al. . . . Props Brother, your talent much appreciated!
I think this is ac/doc's best song , it's where they as a band came together and payed/PLAYED tribute to their mentors AMERICAN BLUES, so full circle here we are thanks bon Scott and ALL the YOUNG 's
Warren smokes here, playing wise. However, always hilarious to see people make fun of AC DC, then try to cover them and fall flat. Not as easy as it looks.
I don’t necessarily think they meant any harm by the thing in the beginning. Just simply showing they still know how to have a little fun. I doubt they did a full AC/DC set just to make fun of them
Myles is a phenomenal guitar player! even used to be a guitar teacher. He actually prefers guitar playing over singing. Both Slash and Tremonti have said Myles is technically a better guitar player than themselves and that he’s actually taught them both stuff!
Late to answer about the P-90s. Those pickups appear to be either Gibson P-94s or Seymour Duncan Phat Cats. So yes, basically P-90s designed to be mounted in bodies routed for humbuckers.
Funny to watch them cover up the rhythm mistake at the beginning. I only know this because I play this with my band and make the same mistake! ✌️🤪🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Paul Jones It's only my opinion because I favor anything with a southern flavor but I think these guys could take any cover and show us how it's done right. I played in a cover band for 10 years and I didn't like it . The money was good but the band was just copying. I like to hear a band adopt a song instead of merely copying it. Fortunately I'm now playing with some guys who are original and creative.
Wow, 9 years ago, and it just popped up in my feed. The drummer disrespecting Angus must have made you guys feel special. Not cool. But hey, you be you. Enjoy blowing kisses to yourselves in the mirror.
Yep. A crass cheapshot. While Gov't Mule did an adequate job of covering the song, they absolutely failed to respect Angus. While this song will always belong to Bon, Angus's soulful playing was integral to it.
@@JohnHenryBonhamm for sure. don´t see any disrespect just a bit of healthy fun (we need more of that). But some people see what they want to see in the end...
Total disrespect for a legend just awful angus was a man of guitar playing and nothing else sorry u guys fucked up bad he doesn’t even deserve your time
One of my favorite songs that most know nothing of. AC/DC was so underrated
Nobody wrote lyrics like Bonn did.

very good
Very well said.
Hell yes, I’ve been on the Warren train since his days with the Allmans, love his voice and his guitar playing goes without saying
And David Allen Coe
That's true and a really good AC/DC cover. Gov't mule are damned good.Greatings from Austria
Smokin version, one of the best 12/8 Blues songs ever written, RIP Malcolm Young, great chord sequence.
yep, Malcolm, thanks for knowin
One of my most favorite ACDC song!
Man y'all need to lighten up. Its meant as a tribute,or a honor to AC/DC. Only so many songs these two can do together. And Warren can play circles around anybody but not many can match Myles voice
Warrens vocals are as good as his guitar playing, legend
HOLY CHIT !!! & Hell Yeah ,Never heard Anyone cover this tune.. And i Find Gov't Mule Nailing it Down ,, :-) thanks for Sharing this GEM !!
Check out Norah Jones' version
Corb Lund does a very good version
I've said it many times and it still rings true. Gov't Mule, best cover band in town.
NO THERE NOT A COVER BAND, THERE PAYING HOMAGE, THERE'S A BIG DIFFERANCE.
Besides the black Crowes
Boys be flingin' those Gibson's that night. Thanks for the post. I dig it!
"Swave" Dave

Nice! One of my favorite blues songs...well done.

Myles Kennedy--singing and/or playing guitar, with Alter Bridge, Slash/GNR at RNR Hall of Fame induction, Zeppelin boys, Gov't Mule, et. al. . . . Props Brother, your talent much appreciated!
awesome tribute to ac/dc guys .....r.i.p. bon scott ride on

I never dreamed I would see Matt do that. He is usually quiet and reserved
Love love love warren one of the best of the best
Thanks for sharing buddy !
Thanks for posting
Absolutely love this video.
Back for about my 50th viewing😅.
Why, oh why, can't we download this performance on Spotify?
Myles plays a good guitar.
Dang, I'd be tiptoeing around too if I were there, that stage must've been seriously on fire, that playing sure was, ridiculously badass! \m/
Fuckin Warren man. What can ya say.
good shot brother!! thanks a lot!!!
Nothing better than watching two guitar players feed off of each other.
lol... too funny...Back on the Drums..Matt.....ok loving this...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
beautiful
Great performance
So... what song are they cutting into at the end?
Night Prowler, also by AC/DC
Fabulous.
Great AC/DC Deep cut
I didn’t even know Myles played guitar. I thought wow he is way better then me. Then Warren starts in and I thought he is way way better then me..
Myles is a phenomenal guitar player! even used to be a guitar teacher. He actually prefers guitar playing over singing. Both Slash and Tremonti have said Myles is technically a better guitar player than themselves and that he’s actually taught them both stuff!
The guitar solo on Blackbird is legendary
I think here he plays with p90's
Am I right?
Late to answer about the P-90s. Those pickups appear to be either Gibson P-94s or Seymour Duncan Phat Cats.
So yes, basically P-90s designed to be mounted in bodies routed for humbuckers.
I think it's a great cover!
first crack up of 2020 thanx you wonderful fux. feel the Berne. and vote responsibly.
This was fun but how weird is it to see Myles playing a Gibson SG?
@3:52 he holds up 4 fingers... I think this is to remind the band to change to the 4 chord of the progression.
Funny to watch them cover up the rhythm mistake at the beginning. I only know this because I play this with my band and make the same mistake!
✌️🤪🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
What's with all the trash comments? What does it matter if a band takes a shot at a cover and makes it "their own"?
Robert Covell i had them right up there but the acdc shot was cheap , real cheap guys.
Paul Jones ac/dc? I thought he was making fun of Cheap Trick... well I’ll be darned .
U can’t copy Bon
Its a lifestyle not a song
everybody has their opinions and if ya don't like it that's fine but when ya can do a better cover, yer opinion gains validity!!
Go Warren.
I gave up after 3 minutes - they still hadn't started the bloody song
O would love to ser Warren playing with Slash.
and there
And hes so damn cute my my but i cant watch him without thinking about greg and dickie ... So so many memories...my my 9:28
anyone know the chords?
not them
thanks for the jerky mikey.
He looks more like Malcolm Young than Angus.
lol
Hört euch das Original von AC/DC an.
The opening was awkward because no one thinks it's funny to make fun of AC/DC. Only snobs make fun of AC/DC.
+Rock 4 Rookies They played a whole set of AC/DC on NYE and brought in Myles to sing vocals! You think they did all that to make fun of AC/DC?
+Randal Gibbs Actually it was 2 sets. It was awesome. They treated the music with total respect. I go to the show every NYE.
Only MUSICIANS make fun of AC/DC
Wrong. Musicians do. They just don't say it to the masses.
The proof is that they make fun of it but they can't play the song properly.
Angus é um esquizofrênico??
Miles owns Warren !
+relpitstudios come on mrs kennedy
Go Myles who Knew
The bass player looks like he has a gene simmons wig on...
Wow, 9 years ago, and it just popped up in my feed. The drummer disrespecting Angus must have made you guys feel special. Not cool. But hey, you be you. Enjoy blowing kisses to yourselves in the mirror.
Stop now! I just listened to the original. Please stop lol.
The original is pure blues. Angus' solo is incredible and has a ton of feeling. And this song shows how good of a singer Bon was as well.
Bass player looks completely lost
Anything Haynes touches it's gonna be great bottom line!
disgrace with mellcome off stage, he was theere......................
Proves Angus is a great cause this was not even vlose in soul and solo chops. Not bad not great either just a mushy tone without much soul
Total disrespect for angus at the beginning
Yep. A crass cheapshot. While Gov't Mule did an adequate job of covering the song, they absolutely failed to respect Angus. While this song will always belong to Bon, Angus's soulful playing was integral to it.
Agree
Just a joke, lighten up and enjoy it. No disrespect in tended.
@@JohnHenryBonhamm for sure. don´t see any disrespect just a bit of healthy fun (we need more of that). But some people see what they want to see in the end...
Wtf. Why would you mock Angus Young? I thought Warren had more class than that. And that shit dude played with the sg was trash
lol
major fail
not cool
some respect lost
So you can do better? don't think warren sweats yer level of respect!!!
worst cover of this song
Total disrespect for a legend just awful angus was a man of guitar playing and nothing else sorry u guys fucked up bad he doesn’t even deserve your time
They butchered it, except for Warrens solo and fills. Bad
worst cover of this song
