I doubt we'll see anything in addition to what the original update had in it, due to the way the app store approval process works. Adding in that stuff would likely just delay it further.
From my understanding these updates take 2-3 weeks to be reviewed and accepted by the app stores. Once the update was denied it was always going to take some time to fix and then sent and reviewed (back of the line again). This happened a couple of years ago to marvel snap.
I dont get the big deal... it's an update and there's a delay, big deal - game isnt down and still works we are just anticipating some large content updates. Everyone needs to chill!

Imagine of you feel that you're being gatekept by a terrible bug that means the champion you pulled for that could change your account and get you decent progress in GB2, and the solution is there, a fix waiting. But the carrot that they dangled in front of you, just keeps getting pulled further and further away.... that's why SOME people may consider it a big deal. Its not the end of the world, but at the same time, wouldn't it have been nice to have a champion released that also does what their skills say they will. Moonton owe the community that one, and although it has been an issue with a 3rd party that "delayed" things. Why did it take this long to resolve? I still support Moonton, they're much more attuned to their player base. But don't be dismissive of people who may feel this has been a big deal. Everyone has their own feelings and opinions.
Free stuff is always nice, definitely think it's more compensation then other games have given. Can't wait to not have to worry about setting gear anymore for my defenses, I forgot again last week for midweek GvG 😂
Dude, they had an update for a mobile game delayed. They apologized and offered compensation. They don't owe you extra stuff in the next update. Nobody died it is not that serious
