My fiancé lives 5000 miles away a continent and an ocean away in Windsor United Kingdom, we’ve been talking every day since 11/2/22 his divorce is finally done. I live in Texas and am 70 next month. Lost my husband Dec 2021. Following Feb 2022 home alone kids in school, I screamed, cried and pleated for a sign of my future's way. I was NOT looking for a person or even hoping. That April 2022 he found me and gave me his number and we've been connected since. It's only been him, we're one state apart, 90mins isn't that bad, we carry eachother in our hearts. I can relate to this song, sitting and waiting as we don't live together nor see eachother daily. Something is better than nothing, I just ponder often what the future would bring if I focus on what my heart sings vs what my mind sometimes rings... that it may not grow to what I'd want living together and being together till our end.
