Sheer perfection!, what a flawless performance. I would be awesome to have The Punchtionary , and The Throwtionary added one day. The Eric Jacobus, Complete Kickassery Handbook!.
It brings a smile to my face knowing that some of these kicks really came from video games, I was expecting a real official name to them but the Zangief Kick and Guile Sweep... Priceless..
Well , this is NOT 200 Kicks for Action Film . It's the kick collection from ALL Martial Arts around the world as humanity can even created . Awesome work , Eric . It's truly a Kicktionary ( Dictionary of Kicks ) . Respect from Thailand :-3
Can I just say that this is like the best song choice ever. Like seriously I felt like I was watching a Karate Kid montage or something. I loved it so much.
I think the broad range of kick techniques along with the depth in flexibility and speed combined with power is truly what is impressive. Love your videos!
I Love the 80s/90s theme music !!! It gives me Nostalgia, movies like King of the kickboxer, No retreat No Surrender, blood sport, Tiger cage, above the law etc was awesome. This man is absolutely incredible, respect!!!!
Subscribed a month ago. I'm nearly 40, been training for a year and a half, and have half these down I think. Not sure if I'll get the other half though. I can spin well but Never learned how to flip. In between you and that Kane guy who made a kicktionary I realize how far I've come and still have yet to go. Excellent work. Love the videos. Made my sensei watch rope a dope, he loved it. Doubt I'm the first but Humbly requesting a mortal kombat series and more street fighter to go along with your tekken videos please. Thanks for being an inspiration to many of us.
I often revisit this video. Can't help it cause Eric's job was presented to me with this. Oh and NightStop too. Tekken IRL are simply the best thing I saw in these few last years of TH-cam. Thank you for doing this.
I have a friend who loves movies but thinks that action boils down to the same thing over and over again. He cannot understand your art. Excellent work.
anyone else feel like they where watching the move demo from tekken? not mention the names a various tekken and street fighter characters, plus the Guyver and Macguyver, kudos on your capoeira kicks , mad smooth
Eric Jacobus it's inspirational to read these comments and see how far you've made it with the Tekken movelists. Still any plans to do Yoshimitsu? He's also my favorite
what you call hurricane kick for me is a tornado roundhouse kick, for the rest i am super glad to see your designations for each kick, since you perform most of them very clean and fast. you have great control and i love see you moving, now i gotta go practice some...damn
Some of those kick names amused me, as did the fact you synched up all the impacts to the music, well done on the editor. Also, some of those moves are seriously impressive, Mr. Jacobus has some real skill there as well... of course who am I to talk? I'd be lucky to replicate one or two of those. LOL
Wow, i loved the variety you have shown......to me the only recognizable ones are from Taekwondo, Hapkido and Capoeira......Kicks from which other arts have been shown here please let me know, i am just excited after watching this?....Osu
Way to show some respect to the almighty leg! Amazing video and the kicks were extra snappy, I would hate to get kicked by you. Hand-standing ovation, good sir.
Awesome video, Eric! I hadn't really heard of you before coming across this video, and I'm sure glad I did. It's always good to see a skilled practitioner such as yourself (especially when it's someone like me who wasn't doing the techniques from infancy). I used to be able to do about half of these before a string of injuries over the past couple of years. I've been slowly fighting to recover, and this video has become a part of my motivation to come back better than ever. From one tkd/hkd practitioner to another, much love!
goosebumps. awe inspiring. is there a kicktionary listed in order of most effective (in terms of damage) to least? what type of workout regimen do you use to get yourself in shape to do these types of kicks? Starting to gain competence with 180 kicks, moving on to 360s next however, currently looking to change workout regimen to help expedite kicking abilities. Also, what other channels have this type of amazing martial arts content?
Kinda reminds me of when I go into a grocery store and enter the bread dept, and I'm like, "Whoa!! Too many choices!" And just like in the grocery aisle, I find myself right now standing, mouth agape, vacuous stare, wondering "How in the hell do you even keep track of them all?"
The kicks fits the rhythm :)
+Chris Li Yeah i just managed to hear that, he got nice moves and rhytm xD
Love all those kicks named after fighting characters.
But dat flying kick! Great distance.
This is one of my favorite videos on youtube since 2014 and i watch it few times in a year. Dude... youre f awesome.
You freakin' brought life to VIDEOGAME MOVES?!?!?! And that No Shadow Kick, tho!!!!
Yea really holy hell
So many years went into those kicks! Absolutely beautiful!
Loved all the video game kicks. Since you did guile sweeps I'm kinda surprised there was no back flip/flash kick.
Happy 10 years to this video! There's always a new kick to come back to and enjoy on each watch.
Sheer perfection!, what a flawless performance. I would be awesome to have The Punchtionary , and The Throwtionary added one day. The Eric Jacobus, Complete Kickassery Handbook!.
I always wanted to make a throw video that is inspired by this. Kind of tricky to do, though. Maybe one day.
It brings a smile to my face knowing that some of these kicks really came from video games, I was expecting a real official name to them but the Zangief Kick and Guile Sweep... Priceless..
i like how the kicks are lined up with the snare in the song thats a very nice touch
Well , this is NOT 200 Kicks for Action Film . It's the kick collection from ALL Martial Arts around the world as humanity can even created . Awesome work , Eric . It's truly a Kicktionary ( Dictionary of Kicks ) .

Holy shit that flying kick. I can't believe you did all those fighting game characters kicks too. Love it!
That music is so 80's. That's great.

Can I just say that this is like the best song choice ever. Like seriously I felt like I was watching a Karate Kid montage or something. I loved it so much.

Love the flying kicks. Actually, love all your kicks, Eric!
You're incredible.
Silvio Conci Thank you! I'm just taking a bunch of stuff that's already been done, copying it and putting a name to it!
***** Maybe I should've just named them all "Eric Jacobus Kick 1" "Eric Jacobus Kick 2" etc. ;)
+Eric Jacobus Hey brother I wish you would do one with 200 plus throws, sweeps and take downs and another one on 200 plus submissions lol.
200 headbutts

I Love the 80s/90s theme music !!! It gives me Nostalgia, movies like King of the kickboxer, No retreat No Surrender, blood sport, Tiger cage, above the law etc was awesome. This man is absolutely incredible, respect!!!!

Loved the Hwang Jang Lee kicks!
He's the man.
I watch this video before I practice my roundhouse kicks. Inspirational man!
I often revisit this video. Can't help it cause Eric's job was presented to me with this. Oh and NightStop too. Tekken IRL are simply the best thing I saw in these few last years of TH-cam. Thank you for doing this.

La meilleure vidéo de coup de pied de tous les temps.
This is so perfect
Have you ever looked at Savate's kicks ? The whole "shoe as a weapon" thing is pretty interesting for choreography
Eric, you are probably the king of martial arts animation reference, and for that, I salute you! :)
what you call hurricane kick for me is a tornado roundhouse kick, for the rest i am super glad to see your designations for each kick, since you perform most of them very clean and fast. you have great control and i love see you moving, now i gotta go practice some...damn

Thanks Geoffrey. Best of luck in your recovery. The greatest things come from adversity.
Thank you for the support. You're absolutely right -- we learn much about ourselves through our trials. Maybe one day I'll be good like you ;)
Coming back and commenting from my other account to say that this video *still* inspires me. 👏💪
