I had those curlers in the late 90's early 2000s. I don't think they tangle more than others, but I think they do give more spiral shaped curlers than regular roller curlers.
Hi Hermione! I actually have a set of those curlers. I love them. You wind them around the curler and then fold the bigger side over the other side. I like them because they give gentle curls and the curlers themselves don't hurt you. If you have thinner hair, you might lightly spray a small amount of hair spray on before you curl. Good luck with that. Your hair color looks lovely. You had a wonderful haul. The lamp switch was genius as was using that small lamp for "up-lighting" with the plant. Have a lovely Sunday, my friend. The frame I bought about 15 years ago at Pier one imports in California United States. I still have it. The hot curlers spritz your hair with a little hairspray or styling spray before you roll it on the hot rollers watch your fingers they’ll get burnt and you leave them on until they cool completely and then you take him out that’s the tip if you don’t use some kind of styling stuff if your hair is really straight it may not work for very long may fall out you know lose the curl. I think the black shade could be repurposed if it has a frame rip off the black and macramé a really cute light shade that hangs. I love your video 💕

Saying that, I've not been to a charity shop for over a year! It's my birthday next week and I've requested to spend the day going round garden centres, I'm going to add a couple of charity shops into there too ;)

I didn't think the toilet planter looks like a toilet at all! In case that helps 💜. But if you want to disguise it how about painting it pale pink or terrazzo effect? Or with sand/bircarb paint to texture it?
