The first minute and a half is the most awesome thing to ever exist. I t never re-attains that level of rage, possibly because the strings/synth never goes higher than the tone it reaches within the first 1:30.
You can't compare this to the original because its like a different song. The lyrics come through more in this version and its more upbeat at times and darker at times. The Original is great too!
I think sebastiAn achieved an amazing result, with, let's face it, one of Bloc Party weakest songs. It's hard to eclipse songs like Pioneers and so on, so why not make the not so good, excellent?
This is the full version though. The version on SebastiAn's "A Fine Selection of Remixes" is over 30 seconds shorter. This is taken from their rare Promo CD.
@@sojermanlan7772 thanks for this clarification, I have downloaded this one for years when I was a teenager and then I listened the A Fine Selection version and it sounded weird and I didn't knew why!
i wouldnt say that i still remember is one of their weakest songs, it may not be as good as some of the others but i dont why it should be labelled as 'not so good'. it rings incredibly true having gone through somthing similar kele did, but i guess its a matter of preference
This song is like a mental adventure.
This version is dreamy.
is that string sample after 1:17 from the intro of Don't Know What to Tell Ya by Aaliyah? With strings from a fifth of beethoven also of course
bloc party is genial, but this remix ist very good too
1 of my fave bloc party songs
Brilliant! :)
Grat song and a great remix - love it 100% !!!!
simply GREAT!
OMG I was looking for this song for a week. Thanks so much!!!

But his other remixex are pretty good. I just don't like it cause I know the original, and thats much better.
Wrong, even the remake is better than the original
The beginning piano loop kinda sounds like Dreamer by Supertramp
@taytayisawesome yeah SebastiAn is actually one person..
the starts like lift music almost haha
i guess loosing everything to gain everything doesnt make sense either?
yeah, if you heard the full version, with the proper buildup, you'd understand why people like it. The thing drops in a very big way.

I dunno if this is a rough draft or whatever but the version I have sounds 10x's better. and it's actually a little different..
