Your black and white dog made me laugh as he slept in the corner while you worked like nothing was going on. Even when your husband moved his legs to put a strip of flooring in. I watched it 3 or 4 times, lol. Lighter floor would have looked nice, too, but what you have is lovely.

Put something rubbery under your bed foot so the iron frame don't tear the floor tiles because it's soft.

I prefer the darker floors because I have very light ones and I hate it all the dirt shows up even though I clean them daily you will be grateful you pick the darker ones… your dream house is really progressing nicely, all of your sacrifice and hard work is paying off.

I think the color is very warm and reminds me of home. Plus your will be making plenty of messes in that kitchen and bake shop and lighter color makes dirt appear more so you want something that can take all that cooking mess haha

PS. My suggestion is don’t use too much water when you mop this kind of floor. Just a very lightly damp towel will be enough so it can last a long time.

The colour is alright but he careful when putting heavy stuff like your iron bed in place tho may need small pieces of carpet as not to leave too many prints on these tiles.The dogs seek to be enjoying the spaces as well.Well done by you and your husband as you are able to save that money.
