Brilliant vid tim. Fair play to them straw lads, not an easy job that. Good how much patience they had with you aswell so fair play again. Looks like a decent firm to work for. Smart kit also
I've been watching your videos for a while now and I absolutely love to see your constant enthusiasm! 😃 I was a lorry driver for 5,5 years and I've always loved the job! Especially the LZV's (the double trailer combo's with a length of 25,25 meters in the Netherlands). I drove DAF XF's most of the time, great trucks too. Unfortunately adding lights and horns wasn't allowed at the company I worked for 😮💨 I'm a train driver now, but driving a proper V8 truck is still on my bucket list. Hopefully one day.. Until then I'll be following your career and your builds! Can't wait to see a video of you on your first job with your own truck!😁👍
After 3 years away from the trucks working event security, your videos are making me really miss driving! Videos are class mate, hopefully will see you down the road soon!
Hey @Trucker Tim what an amazing vlog. Extremely interesting to see the full process from collecting the straw to back to the yard. You always seem to have a great banter. Keep up the hard work.. looking forward to more of the owner operator process.
Broshuis are dutch build trailers, they are rugged, well build, steered and can take a real beating. I used to run a Broshuis 2connect, 5 axle seacon Breaker chassis. Hauled up to 80 metric tons on it...
When I was on the farm I’d throw the straps over and my dog would pull on the other side and take the tension out so I could hook it on before attaching the ratchet
Great content mate just be carful when filming as when you was loading straw and you swapped wagons around im guessing when the “boss” moved the truck he drove with your tacho in the machine 🫣
Guessing that was the last straw then. Sorry for the pun thought of that reading the title. Great vlog tim hope your doing well can't wait to watch you doing work in your own truck
great video, i only have one thing dont look at camera when talking when you dive. concentrade om the road, so when new drivers look, dont learn how not to drive. but see you concentrade on the road.
My first truck I learned to drive was a Marmon, don't know if you heard of that make of truck,it was a convensanol, hope I spelled that right, love that truck, easy to drive and handle, really super nice bunk to sleep in.
A Tang is an Irish trucker slang word for an Irish Trucker from the North, in a checked shirt, leather boots and driving a specific kind of truck - the Scania V8.
I drove past the farm your loading at the other day, on my way to chelmsford from loughborough. I was in a car transporter though. Have run straw but not in a lorry 😅 Also done a bit of combine harvesting 👌🖐️
Despite the horrible weather Tim, you did brilliantly just got to get the Knack of strap throwing, knowing your enthusiasm to learn fast you'll do it soon enough.
Glad its Tuesday again, those Scania's are Awesome, they look like Dutch Style Finish to them. Also I gave a shoutout on my Podcast, Looking forward to Friday's vlog! th-cam.com/video/7H6g_38UVh8/w-d-xo.html
Good video Tim you drove it like you stole it proper job! I used to drive tankers for Wincanton I've never had Straw behind me interesting vlog keep em coming! 👋
The thing with this type of work is the comradery. Although it may not be for you, there is definitely a bit of comradery involved especially if you go in twos. And you can have fun talking crap along the way.
You two are a banging duo, love the enthusiasm. Would love to see more content together.
The black strap with white trucker tim. I'd go blue with black trucker tim. The white will get filthy.
Brilliant vid tim. Fair play to them straw lads, not an easy job that. Good how much patience they had with you aswell so fair play again. Looks like a decent firm to work for. Smart kit also

Shoutout to the fella with a Moffett on the back of his truck. Good machines, built in Ireland.
You have to get the v8 badge on the back of your truck with led lights around it
Love it!!! Martins a top lad so glad he’s getting on well. 👍
Great fun, good to see you back in a lorry. Hope you’re keeping well

53’ trailer is the base level in America that everyone pulls. Would be cool if we could run turnpike doubles in the states.
