It's her time to shine... For years she was just a voice. It's about time she takes the spotlight. And I hope these kind of talent shows starts appreciating real talent and not just be blinded by some good sad background stories from other contestants.

I'm late to the party on this audition from BGT, but I love the fact this is like a recreation moment from the movie. Loren on stage singing by herself, singing that same song, in front of tiers of people in the audience.

If good and very good singers can be said that their voice has been touched by an angel or even God, Loren Allred is one of the few who can be said that God himself touches the listener's soul through Loren's voice as a singer. Strange she 's getting recognized now. Funny, bcuz she's been singing this song since the move came out all around the world and at some prestige events. Sang and dueted with some of the best singers in the world including David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, and countless female singers. She was signed to Island Def jam records at age 19 but was dropped bcuz execs tried to hit on her and she NO to their advances. In 2012 she was on the Voice US. She was on Adam Levine's team and apparently made it to the finals but didn't win. Makes it like she was a nobody but that's false.

Wow, this was an amazing performance and a beautiful touching reaction! She really deserves to be known, but I must admit I heard Morissette cover her song on Wish Bus, and also one or two other covers, and I knew it was from a movie (I don't watch movies anymore, usually...) but had never seen Loren Allred... Like you I'm happy for her Golden Buzzer moment - but when was this? Why have I never heard of her even after that? What is she doing now? Still behind the scenes? Would be curios for another reaction...
Both are great.. but i wish that Loren should get the stage where she belongs.. she should be singing in concerts already... she should get more songs coz her voice is insane..not to mention she is very beautiful!!

First thing is that I had never seen or heard of Loren Allred until the Notification from my Subscription to BGT and their affiliated Events.
Once I watched her Audition I then researched her out carefully.
I've been in the Production industry so I know Not to comment without proper research. I hope that this will explain everything that I've written.
Therefore I'm reposting my edited comments that I have put together from other postings to give everyone my understanding on how I see Loren Allred
Regards to Loren Allred and People's Negative Comments replies or Posting and don't understand what the difference between a Professional Performer and Amateurs who don't normally get paid.
Anyone who gets paid for performing is considered a professional no matter how much money or popularity they may have.
It's to what level Artist reaches in their careers.
In regards to her Actual Audition remember there's a Lot of difference between Performing and being Judged.
The Best of the Best can still have Butterflies 🦋 and Shaking Nerves.
All in All this is still a Fabulous Audition.
Remember that this was a Audition not a Paid Performance.
So let's try to see ourselves in her position putting herself out there taking and risking it all.
It's been 5 Years since The Greatest Showman was released.
She didn't take advantage of her position.
Look at Loren Allred TH-cam Videos. Although she's done some Great Performances and Live concert events overall in the past.
It wasn't until this Audition at Britain's Got Talent that she's Finally getting the Amazing Response and Recognition.
Let's be kind and support Loren Allred and others like her Still Chasing their Dreams.
For those of you that think that Loren Allred Acted in the Greatest Showman Movie, She Never Acted in the Movie.
She Sang The Song that was recorded for the Movie.
The Actress Rebecca Ferguson Who played Jenny Lind The Character she's the one that suggested that Loren Allred sing the song and Jessica Ferguson would be Lip Syncing over the recording.
Loren Allred name is only as part of the rest of the Vocal Ensemble
You wouldn't know based on the Name Credits who sang what song.
She's done a duet with Michael Buble.

You'll see how Michael Buble after watching the Greatest Showman Movie went searching for the voice of Never Enough, when he figured out that the Actress wasn't actually singing the song.

That still didn't get the Recognition she's been working on for so long.
Up until her BGT Audition Loren Allred wasn't a House hold by name by any means that you knew.
Only in certain musical circles maybe Yes people knew of her.
Now that she's Audition on BGT people are finally getting around to see what she's trying to make of herself
So she's Very Deserving of The Long Overdue Recognition for her Vocals of that Powerful Song in the Movie.
What a Fabulous and Humble Reaction that she seemed to be in awed by the Audience Reaction at the end of her finished audition.

I am a world-leading expert in something but it is not music. As a music layperson I appreciate Allred's performance and I suspect it is brilliant - but I have no way of confirming this or distinguishing it from other apparently brilliant performances. I need an expert to explain why Allred's performance is exceptional. For example, I need to see Michael Johnson's reaction to Bolt blowing away Johnson's 200m record to fully appreciate what that means (I am not an athletics expert). Thank you for this reaction. I am going to assume you are, in fact, an expert in your field and therefore your reaction has gravitas. It confirms what lay people inherently suspect but without the technical expertise to know just why.
I don't get it that a lot of people could miss that it wasn't the actress who sang the song and also watch the end credits as it is mentioned that Loren Allred is performing the song.The bonnus features on the Blu-ray (maybe on the DVD) it is also revealed that she sung it and confirm what she said at the begining.
thank you for your view on why people didn’t know that she was the singer? alot of factors, first is culture, coz each culture has different ways on watching a movie, like me in the Philippines , most of us stop watching once the movie ends and only few % to check the credits..and not most of us all watch it on movie theaters, others watch it on just a recording by a camera.. so its not the same how each country watch some movies and people are different when they watch a movie.. hehe that is just me but i dont know what others think when they watch a movie.. but i respect your take in that.. you also have your right or freedom to watch everything until the credits of the movie..thats goodzz

The Interview was done after Loren Allred Auditioned for Britain's Got Talent and The Golden Buzzer 🌟 and she had returned to America
I think that this Interview will hopefully help answer a lot of questions and give a better understanding of her as a Artist.
