This is called "fatigue factor" first times You listen to the song it blows your mind but then You get tired of the overexposition of the song , applies to all classic songs : stairway to heaven, bohemian rhapsody, smoke on the water , back in black etc .
That probably happens to everybody even with their favorite artists. A lot of your comments after you named the songs were pretty funny. I can't wait to hear your ten Beatles songs that you never get tired of hearing.
I totally get where you are coming from... and I know that people can get sick of songs by the Beatles and whoever their other fave bands/songs (Eagles' "Hotel California", Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven", etc), I'm grateful that I stopped listening to the radio close to 30 years ago. I don't listen to terrestrial or satellite radio at all so I never get tired of what I hear... I pick the music I want to hear. Sure, there are times when I'm in a store or in a friend's car and they play stuff, but that doesn't happen that often. So, I'm quite happy to say that I'm not tired of a lot of music... This is not to say that I don't care for songs by great bands. I mean there are Beatles songs I can't stand ("Come Together" comes to mind) but I just don't play them at home so I rarely have to deal with them. But that is my story....
Joe, Two songs I heard so much as a teenager i do not want to hear are " I saw her standing there" and" I want to hold your hand." Yes I listened to Breakfast with the Beatles this morning on WTUE in Dayton 104.7 as most Sundays from 8 to 11. If these two songs come on I turn stereo off.
Great honest video Joe, I’m in your age range, and been listening to the Beatles for 50 years, and I think what happens is these songs are so entrenched in our brain from listening to them a million times, or hearing on the radio , that they are not as fresh or interesting as way back, we all know every nuance of the song, every note, so it loses its luster. By the way, I agree with most of your songs u mentioned, thx for interesting video!
They say you can't have too much of a good thing...of course you can! :) It's great to see a die hard fan of the Beatles confessing a bit of a 'Beatles burn' when it comes to certain songs. Makes us all feel less guilty of having some songs that we are tired of. One of the top of my head would be A Hard Day's Night, or Can't Buy Me Love. Amazing songs but played out to death:)
I understand where your coming from. This goes for all popular groups and there songs ie Eagles Hotel California, Police Every breath you take and so on. I don’t listen to the radio much but when I do it seems they have the standard playlist. It can get real boring. A lot of the songs you mentioned I have a personal affection for them. Yesterday is probably my favorite Beatle song. I remembered when it came out ( even though I was a kid) and when I hear it it’s like hearing it for the first time. Different strokes for different folks.
It seems like your coming from the perspective of hear these song via the radio? For me I listen to albums via my cd collection, TH-cam or Spotify. I make the selection on what I want to hear and I agree sometimes I don’t feel like The Beatles. If it’s a particular song I will not select that album. For me it’s Led Zeppelin 4. Today I will listen to coda or in through the out door. There are songs in LZ 4 that are overplayed and loses the appeal
I wasn't offended. In fact, I was laughing quite a bit throughout and can generally see your point. This reminds me of my experience with Abbey Road. As a high school senior, I was heavily into the Beatles, buying all their albums from Rubber Soul on. I particularly liked Abbey Road--so much so that I played it to death and grew tired of it, and I've never really enjoyed it since. For this reason, I hardly ever listen to the fourth Led Zeppelin album because I've been on the verge of growing tired of that one for many years and don't want my favorite rock album of all time to suffer the fate that Abbey Road did.
There are two songs that I have totally different opinions of on your list. Come together was the one song I was hoping you would list as I am sick of it 2 singers at our local jam sing it to nausea every week if I never hear come together again, I'm satisfied!!! the other side of the coin is Michelle one of my favorite Beatles songs named after my beautiful wife Never tired of that song.
As a hostage in a band that INSISTS on playing Come Together I feel your pain!! I would bet money they play it because one of the 2 singers just LOVES it to death and the other one probably wants to cut his ears off at this point. 🤣 Trust me. I am a HUGE Beatles fan, but if I at some point can STOP playing Come Together I will be happy
The Beatles songs I never really listen to anymore are “The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill,” “Love Me Do,” “Yellow Submarine,” and “Lady Madonna.” If they come on I’ll still listen but I mostly skip out on those. Many people forget that even as a die-hard fan, it’s okay to have those great songs that you just don’t want to hear anymore.
The other day a radio station tries to be hip, said wait for a game changer in music coming up next by the Beatles…waited… they played Let it Be. Maybe the younger generation views it a being daring since they have not heard it a thousand times, my only explanation for the same five songs played by a group with a diverse catalog.
Joe this is a great list. I tend to agree with you on most of your picks. I would have added Let it Be and Hey Jude and made 12. You had no Ringo songs . I would have said Act Naturally. Great topic. You got to do it for solo too. Thank you for this video.
I can't disagree. It's nearly 60 years since the girl cross the street gave me I Feel Fine/She's A Woman and with a few exceptions (mostly John songs) I'm just saturated.
I would have to say back in 73 it was Hey Jude, but only because my sister had gotten me '67-'70 on 8-track. I always wanted to hear REVOLUTION but had to listen to Hey Jude to get to REVOLUTION! ❤ I'm alright with the song now lol
"Long And Winding Road" is one of my favorite Beatle songs, and in my opinion, one of Paul's best he's ever written. I never get tired of any Beatle songs, but I guess some people do, which is fine. But then again Joe, your usually doing something "Beatles" every day, if I were doing that, I might get tired of some songs too.
Really suprised by the songs you choosed I must say aha. Personally I would say songs like "She Loves You", "Help", "Ticket to Ride" and "A Hard Day's Night" are those that i'm really tired of, even if i love every single one of them
Hey Joe... When I'm at work and the oldies station is on, the cable music channel MusicChoice, they always seem to play Yesterday and Penny Lane. Two great songs of course but I think I'm a little tired of hearing them.
Had a hood laugh this morning. I saw your video last night and sure enough, this is the first song and dedication I hear on the Beatles channel Sirius XM, BIRTHDAY! Thought of you and thought "he's right"
Haha😅 yes , its in all issues in life : songs, movies, food.....sometimes we just need to take break from some things , Totally agree 👍 those radio stations play the same damn songs , this is really annoying , just like Elvis my favorite 😍, they play all the time same 5 songs
Hi. It's Eliot again. This is why I wish The Beatle Channel would Dive more into the Solo Catalog!!! Hearing the same songs over and over chases us away from wanting to listen to The Beatle Channel.
“Within You Without You” is one I’ll switch the station on cos it is slow and dreary but I love it when listening to the Sgt. Pepper album. Agree with you on “Yesterday” and “Something.”
I ditto everything you are saying, Joe. I used to have Hey Jude as the # 1 Beatles song of all time by a long shot. Not anymore !! I can name 20 to 30 Beatles songs that are better and more relevant for us and you and me. Songs like Strawberry Fields, Not a Second Time, Dr. Robert, Dear Prudence, For You Blue, etc. are the good ones in my opinion. Well done !!!
Intersting, how we react to music as years go by. There are many Beatles songs I won't listen to now. Some others I want to hear regularly. I never liked "I Am The Walrus" and am finally mature enough to admit it. I love listening to the a capella version of "Because," and I want to hear "Hey Bulldog" on occasion.
I’m not really tired of any Beatles songs. I just get tired of listening to any Beatles songs and tired of The Beatles in general because I’ve listened to them so much in my life. There will be months and months where I don’t listen to any Beatles. It’s been months and months since I’ve listened to The Beatles but now I think it’s time to start listening again.
The key reason (or another) were tired of some of these songs is because Paul and Ringo tour incessantly. And of course the media is always good to blame. I gave up listening to the radio last century.Speaking of the song Birthday that should have been on the 2024 Blue album.. it's so popular.
Some of those songs I've gotten a little tired of, too. I purposely avoid certain Beatles songs, like Yesterday and The Long and Winding Road, specifically so as NOT to get tired of them. I guess I have gotten tired of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da and All Together Now. There were always a few songs that I never really got much enjoyment from hearing, like Wild Honey Pie and Maggie Mae. I always found You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) to be an amusing novelty, which I listen to from time to time, but it was never something that I put on frequently. I don't listen to all that much radio, so I haven't experienced nearly as much burn-out in hearing something way too much as you have. It's good to put certain songs (and movies) aside for a while. After a few years of not hearing something, a fresh listen can become a pleasure again.
Definitely with you about "Birthday" sometimes i just skip the song all together when i listen to disc 2. Never liked "the word" from rubber soul, probably the only other beatles song i actively will skip.
I think Long & Winding Road, Spector version, is unique in their catalogue. It's one of my favourite 10 songs of all time. Eleanor Rigby might be his best song full-stop. But it's ok to be fed up with them.
I am a long time and regular watcher of your Channel. Really like it and your "east coast" kinda attitude...:>). I have been buying Beatles records longer that you, so understand a little where your coming from. However, I don't think it's fair to "downgrade" the Paul songs just because you have seen Paul, as you would say, a "gazillion" times in concert. You reminded why I have never been to a Paul concert, or why I'm not really interested in going to see him.
I was tired of "Yesterday" by the time I was 12. I was tired of "The Long And Winding Road" by the end of the first listen. It's difficult to figure out why this happens. "Hey Jude," for instance, has never worn off on me - in fact, I tend to think of it as McCartney's best song. But it does seem like the slower songs are in the most danger of wearing off on me. This video doesn't cover solo work, but I will mention that I won't miss "Imagine" if I never hear it again, even though I loved it when I was younger.
Hey Jude( my least favorite Beatles song ) Come together ( just tired of it ) Blackbird Something Twist and shout Revolution Birthday Penny Lane With a little help from my friends
Hi Joe.... LOL I was going to do the same video!!!! All of the song that I did pick are from XM LOL!!! I do think that XM have over played them. Wild the ones you did pick :). Good video and I get it :)!!!!!
Eleanor Rigby I agree with yesterday as well Beatles songs that have been overplayed and need a rest from. Michelle as well! Have to start making some playlists and edit those out 😅 all the best to you.
Pretty good list and see your angle on these songs. I will say when you were alluding to a George track from Abbey Road I thought for sure it would be Here Comes the Sun. Great great song, but it seems to be on a continuous loop all the time on ITunes etc…
Wow! Good video. I totally get it. And quite honestly, I NEVER cared for The Long And Winding Road. I always called it The Long And Boring Road. Like you, I'll listen to it but I don't need to hear it! Wings Over America version is my favorite. A bit less dreary
Beatles songs I am a bit tired of: Let It Be Can‘t Buy Me Love I Want To Hold Your Hand Love Me Do In My Life Please Please Me Twist And Shout It Won’t Be Long Rock And Roll Music Two Of Us
Yeah, as much as I love the Beatles, I rarely listen to any all-Beatles radio/streaming music programs because of the same old songs turning up every single time. What's the point when nearly every tune you will hear can be found on the Beatles and solo greatest hits compilations? The tune I'm most sick and tired of is Back in the USSR. I'm so glad Paul dropped it from his live setlist.
Im 68 and was a Beatle fan since 64 and even still get sentimental every once in a while but seeing as im in my twilight years prefer to listen to newer music and discover new music ( dirty honey, the warning, greta) and im into harder rock like judas priest, cinderella, slaughter etc!
For me it is Hey Jude, Yesterday and All you need is love as top three. Again I don’t hate any of the Beatles songs to me there almost isn’t a bad song amongst the lot but those 3 I would love to hear something in their place for a change. From my understanding Lennon wrote the most Beatles songs but yet Paul wrote the most popular ones….to paraphrase John from years ago, no one is walking down the aisle to I am the Walrus.
Joe I agree with you 100% on these songs. And birthday. Except for John Lennons Part, everybody’s got a party party. Never get tired of his part in that.😎
It definitely happens with some songs from time to time. I think Hey Jude is one of the greatest song ever written, but sometimes when I hear it come on the radio, I've got to change the channel. Here Comes the Sun is another one that, at certain times, I'd rather flip the station, even though I love the song. I guess at times you can have too much of a good thing. Cheers, Joe!
Come Together was the first song I thought of. I'm not just tired of it, I don't really like it much, to begin with. Feels plodding to me. I think Aerosmith did a cover of it, and they didn't improve it much. Every time it comes on the radio, I feel like that slot has been stolen away from a better Beatles song. It annoys me and I switch stations.
The first song on your list.. The Long And Winding Road I've mentioned to you in a comment awhile back as my least favorite Beatles song MrMaro.. )^_-)/ So depressing. The Beatles were wrapping it up.. Maybe that's why. My favorites are Rain.. In My Life.. Paperback Writer.. Taxman.. I'm Down.. Twist And Shout.. Cover song I know.. Octopus' Garden.. Act Naturally.. Cover song again.. I'm a Buck Owens fan and Ringo rOcKs it.. )^_-)/
Agree with the majority of your tired Beatles songs list. I would add Maxwell's Silver Hammer (another Paul's song) and Hey Jude for its lengthy 7:08 minutse song and refrain.
These 4 particular songs, "Yesterday ," "Hey Jude," "Ob La De Ob La Da," and "Yellow Submarine" could be vaulted away for 20 years and I wouldn't miss them. They have been totally worn out over the years.
As it has been for years....Hey Jude (always played the flip side of the 45rpm single even as a kid) ....The Long and Winding Road....and Let it Be. I can't argue with your list Ob La Di Ob La DUD.
Interesting list. There are a lot of songs that get overplayed and some, let’s face it, are not that good. I would agree with Long and Winding Road and Birthday and I would add Can’t Buy Me Love as well. I love the deeper tracks but I still love most of the hits especially from the period of 62-66. Very refreshing video Joe….its nice to see someone that loves the band but can take a step back and be honest. Thanks!
I was tired of "I Dig A Pony" about a week after I first heard it. Same with "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill." Good video, Joe. Maybe you can make another one with you listening to the 8 minute version of "Dig It" followed by the equally long "Revolution #9." Then cap it off with the extended version of "You Know My Name (Look Up The Number). While Paul was churning out beauties, his partner in greatness was self-absorbed and actively trying to sabotage both him and the group. I'll take 100 listens of "Blackbird" over even one more listen of "Julia." Oh yeah.
@@MeanMrMayo Don't get me wrong. I enjoy this channel a lot and I also know you're very learned about not just the Beatles but all popular music. If the songs I mentioned above weren't sabotage, then "Two Virgins" and "Life With The Lions" definitely were.
@@Woodpecker5 No, I disagree again. I think John really believed in those projects and experiementation - that's where his head was at during the time, weird or not. Those were "side releases", aside form Beatles. George did the same with ELECTRONIC SOUNDS -- was he trying to sabotage the Beatles too?
@@MeanMrMayo "Electronic Sound" was experimentation with Moog and "Wonderwall Music" was part of a soundtrack. George had musical passions that he wanted to share. The "Wedding Album" was another way to embarrass the group and further distance himself from the others. While Paul and George were actively helping other individuals and groups achieve success, John was hooked on heroin and wanting everyone to feel sorry for him while imposing his ideas on the world. "I believe in Me. Yoko and Me." He told you straight up.
@@Woodpecker5 You're making excuses for Electronic Sound. John did not deliberately set out to screw the Beatles or embarrass them, he was into experimenting with Yoko and it just happened to conflict with the Beatles. John grew up and was ready to move on - so was George. I think the breakup was much needed, and a wonderful thing.
I would sadly agree with the majority of this list. Some Others 1)Twist and Shout 2)Love Me Do 3)I Saw her Standing There 4)Yellow Submarine 5)Goodnight 6)Drive My Car 7)All You Need is Love 8)When I'm 64 9)Rocky Racoon 10)Bungalo Bill Twist and Shout hit this list WAAAAY back when Ferris Bueller's Day Off came out. I got sick of it THEN and never recovered. Like you however I will listen to these songs in the context of an album...but MAN is it hard to listen to the Red Album and have to sit through Love Me Do every time...... Why are these mostly Paul songs? Go back and listen to some interviews with John and George, they had to suffer through take after take of these things!(And I am a HUGE Paul fan. But I recognize it)...the other song that just missed my list...Maxwells Silver Hammer. Its the keyboard part that saves it...
Great Video Joe! There are very few Beatle tracks I'm sick of hearing, at least on record unless I didn't much care for them in the first place, but yes, Paul has put me off certain songs so whenever he launches in to them in concert I just skip to the next number. Hey Jude Eleanor Rigby Ob La Di Ob La Da Yesterday Our Paul list is pretty much the same - Perhaps it's our own fault for watching so many Paul shows. Not to go off topic, but if I may, 'Let Me Roll It' and 'Here Today' also bore me to tears with Paul's never ending, never changing, never out of the set live versions. And, to add balance, I'm sure if John was still touring I'd also be sick of hearing 'In My Life', 'Help', 'All You Need Is Love' and 'Woman' by now too! Two Beatle songs I AM sick of hearing are 'She's Laving Home' and 'A Day In The Life' as I've just heard them both far too many times!
For your information: Beyonce covers Blackbird on her new album Cowboy Carter and she adds some nice embellishments, so maybe you wanna listen to this version if you're tired of the old one ...
Actually you’re pretty accurate on the songs you’re sick of, I feel the same way, minus Michelle you mentioned, I would have put Hey Jude at the end. Mind you I love the Beatles and have all their studio albums, Blue and Red albums, Rock and Roll Music as well. Another one I’m also sick of is Can’t by me Love, overplayed. Sorry Radio world but you ruined it for us common folk. ❤
My list (also no particular order.) Come Together (strong agree on that) Revolution (single version) All You Need is Love Hello Goodbye Blackbird (good but too overrated) Let It Be (I contend Long And Winding Road is a favorite of mine on the other hand) Might as well throw in Hey Jude and throw that whole single under the bus (because of course.) Definitely All Together Now Get Back (and constant references to it.) Can't Buy Me Love There ya go. Strong disagree on Michelle. That's a longtime favorite from (for me) an impeccable album.
Everyone has songs they get tired of hearing over and over. The only time It annoys me is when someone makes a list of the best Beatles' songs and consciously leaves off those songs that they admit are great and they absolutely loved for a long time just because because they had been overplayed and they are now tired of it. They are punishing the song for being too well liked.
Joe this would make for a great TMT episode. And discuss why….is it overplay on the Beatles channel? Again great songs, let’s just play more deep tracks and solo deep tracks. That is the problem is that Ringo’s and Paul’s set list have become stagnant. I will admit it is great that Let it Be and The Long and Winding Road are played on the 70’s channel.
You complain about these songs being overplayed yet you're actively searching to listen to them in your subconscious by pursuing Beatles related content. You pick on Paul yet he's the most talented Beatle.
I have to admit, other than maybe "Something" and "Michelle" I love and never tire of any of the songs you listed Joe. But, I get it. For me, it's "Hey Jude", "Lady Madonna", "I Dig A Pony", "I Saw Her Standing There", , "All you need is love" , "Yellow Submarine", and a few others including some of Paul's solo songs, "Let Me Roll It", and "Here Today" come to mind. Probably because Paul has played some of these songs live to death, especially "Let Me Roll It". I don't get it. I also have to agree with you. Paul is one of the worst interviews. I never EVER wanna hear the "Yesterday", "Getting Better", or, "Hey Jude" and "how I wrote it" story from Paul ever again. I used to love his interviews from the late 70's, early 80's because they seemed so rare. Now, eh???? His interviews are like his stage shows. The same thing over and over, with the exact same stories between songs. Or, even his mannerisms like after "Live and Let Die" are exactly the same show after show after show. I can feel the band members cringing with the "here comes that same story again". I must admit, as great as Paul is live I find his shows somewhat disingenuous because you could watch a show in New York and it's the exact same cookie cutter show you would see in Cleveland, or Chicago, or, LA, or anywhere.
Hey Jude is the one Beatles song I am tired of hearing. I don't get the obsession with that song. I'd rather hear Revolution 9 than hear Hey Jude play again on the radio,
There are no songs by The Beatles that I've gotten tired of. There are just a few here and there that I've never liked to begin with. Michelle and Norwegian Wood spring immediately to mind.
Some day, I’m going to call one of those Beatles shows, say it’s my birthday, and ask them to play “I’m a Loser.”
🤣
Sometimes we all need to take a break from some songs.
This is called "fatigue factor" first times You listen to the song it blows your mind but then You get tired of the overexposition of the song , applies to all classic songs : stairway to heaven, bohemian rhapsody, smoke on the water , back in black etc .

Correct title: Why I'm so tired of Paul. 😂
I'm not...love his solo stuff.
Why I'm so tired of Paul: he produced the songs I listened to the most. That is the correct title.
They say you can't have too much of a good thing...of course you can! :) It's great to see a die hard fan of the Beatles confessing a bit of a 'Beatles burn' when it comes to certain songs. Nice collection.

Yup the big hits have been overplayed across the board there’s only so many times you can listen to a song
It seems like your coming from the perspective of hear these song via the radio? For me I listen to albums via my cd collection, TH-cam or Spotify. I love the horn arrangement in Ob-la-di Ob-La-da, though
Hi Joe! Now we all wait the next video : "Ten solo Beatles songs I'm tired of"...
I wasn't offended. In fact, I was laughing quite a bit throughout and can generally see your point.
This reminds me of my experience with Abbey Road. As a high school senior, I was heavily into the Beatles, buying all their albums from Rubber Soul on. Long and Winding Road, Here Comes the Sun, Let it Be, Yellow Submarine, A Hard Day's Night, Birthday, Michelle, and I'm sure several others.
She Loves You
Joe, you truly are entertaining in a strange way. This video could have been filed in the rant category.

No, I was saying that I'm NOT tired of neither Let It Be nor Hey Jude.
Are you just as much tied of Come Together by Aerosmith?
Little Child, Thank You Girl, Things We Said Today (sometimes), Baby’s In Black, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da and Maxwell’s Silver Hammer get skipped at home.
I can't disagree. It's nearly 60 years since the girl cross the street gave me I Feel Fine/She's A Woman and with a few exceptions (mostly John songs) I'm just saturated.

My rule is, not listen to music on the radio. I decided that many years ago.

Apart from Eleanor Rigby ..and perhaps the long and winding road..I agree with your picks Joe.

Hi. It's Eliot again. This is why I wish The Beatle Channel would Dive more into the Solo Catalog!!! Hearing the same songs over and over chases us away from wanting to listen to The Beatle Channel.
I had to cancel mine. Needed deeper solo cuts strewn in between the common stuff.
I'm a huge Beatles fan and hey I get it. It goes for any band for that matter. I'm into B sides and deep album cuts. I also like alternate takes 🙂
Definitely with you about "Birthday" sometimes i just skip the song all together when i listen to disc 2. Never liked "the word" from rubber soul, probably the only other beatles song i actively will skip.
Nice video Joe. It has to be Hey Jude for me, was fully expecting that one to be on your list!
Thanks for being a regular watcher, and for commenting.
Hey Jude( my least favorite Beatles song )
Come together ( just tired of it )
Blackbird
Something
Twist and shout
Revolution
Birthday
Penny Lane
With a little help from my friends
I agree with pretty much all of those, except Revolution, which I love.
@@michaeljfoley1being tired of Something is wild as well
GO LIE IN A DARK ROOM
Totally agree about The Long and Winding Road, never really been a fan of that song
Music is like food-you have to be in the mood for it, and a lot of you can't take every single day of the year.
Hi Joe.... LOL I was going to do the same video!!!! All of the song that I did pick are from XM LOL!!! I do think that XM have over played them. Wild the ones you did pick :). Good video and I get it :)!!!!!
I would like to hear your picks.
I agree with you! I kept waiting for you to say Hey Jude. That is definitely in my top 5 Beatle songs that I'm tired of hearing.
Beatles songs I am a bit tired of:
Let It Be
Can‘t Buy Me Love
I Want To Hold Your Hand
Love Me Do
In My Life
Please Please Me
Twist And Shout
It Won’t Be Long
Rock And Roll Music
Two Of Us
After "Dear Prudence" was "Glass Onion"
You're right. Momentary memory mixup.
Top 3 that came to mind for me: Birthday, Let It Be, All You Need is Love.
Hey Jude, Let It Be and Imagine would be on my top 10 list i'm tired of..
Bros Johnson did a cover of Come Together in 1976.
I'm sick of that one too.
Im 68 and was a Beatle fan since 64 and even still get sentimental every once in a while but seeing as im in my twilight years prefer to listen to newer music and discover new music ( dirty honey, the warning, greta) and im into harder rock like judas priest, cinderella, slaughter etc!
Radio Ruins Everything : I could go a long time without hearing Hey Jude again , thank you Q107 Toronto Sunday battle of the bands
I refer to the Sunday morning Beatles radio show as "Breakfast With The Commericals"
You OK Joe?
Sick. Can't livestream.
@@MeanMrMayo Hope You get to feeling better Buddy! I'll keep You in My Prayers!!!
Ha ha! 😂 great video! Three cheers!! I concur sir !!! 😎👍
Cheers, Matt
My list:
Come Together
Not A Second Time
Taxman
Help
Hide Your Love Away
Norwegian Wood
A Day In The Life
Within You Without You
Slow Down
Hey Jude
Come Together was the first song I thought of. I'm not just tired of it, I don't really like it much, to begin with. Feels plodding to me. I think Aerosmith did a cover of it, and they didn't improve it much. Every time it comes on the radio, I feel like that slot has been stolen away from a better Beatles song. It annoys me and I switch stations.
I hear you for me its Maxwell's silver hammer but keep going
The first song on your list.. The Long And Winding Road I've mentioned to you in a comment awhile back as my least favorite Beatles song MrMaro.. )^_-)/ So depressing. The Beatles were wrapping it up.. Maybe that's why. My favorites are Rain.. In My Life.. Paperback Writer.. Taxman.. I'm Down.. Twist And Shout.. Cover song I know.. Octopus' Garden.. Act Naturally.. Cover song again.. I'm a Buck Owens fan and Ringo rOcKs it.. )^_-)/
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da & get back are played way too much on classic rock radio at least here in PA. Those are two Beatles songs that I get tired of
Ob la di...was a single, eventually.
This is why Joe is great. So true.
Agree with the majority of your tired Beatles songs list. I would add Maxwell's Silver Hammer (another Paul's song) and Hey Jude for its lengthy 7:08 minutse song and refrain.
I wanna hear the 3:25 pocket disc edit of Hey Jude
These 4 particular songs, "Yesterday ," "Hey Jude," "Ob La De Ob La Da," and "Yellow Submarine" could be vaulted away for 20 years and I wouldn't miss them. They have been totally worn out over the years.
I kinda love hearing Ob La De, honestly. I feel like it's not nearly as well known as those other three.
As it has been for years....Hey Jude (always played the flip side of the 45rpm single even as a kid) ....The Long and Winding Road....and Let it Be. I can't argue with your list Ob La Di Ob La DUD.
Lets see em Joe...aaaaa I mean hear em 😁
I’m tired of having bdays 🤪😳🤭😁
Interesting list. There are a lot of songs that get overplayed and some, let’s face it, are not that good. I would agree with Long and Winding Road and Birthday and I would add Can’t Buy Me Love as well. I love the deeper tracks but I still love most of the hits especially from the period of 62-66. Very refreshing video Joe….its nice to see someone that loves the band but can take a step back and be honest. Thanks!
Thanks
I would have to add for me personally and I love Georgie
Taxman
Not me. And I disagree with your wild theory of "sabotage".
Some Others 1)Twist and Shout 2)Love Me Do 3)I Saw her Standing There 4)Yellow Submarine 5)Goodnight 6)Drive My Car 7)All You Need is Love 8)When I'm 64 9)Rocky Racoon 10)Bungalo Bill
Twist and Shout hit this list WAAAAY back when Ferris Bueller's Day Off came out.
Along with Birthday, I'm sick and tired of Helter-skelter.
Great Video Joe!
There are very few Beatle tracks I'm sick of hearing, at least on record unless I didn't much care for them in the first place, but yes, Paul has put me off certain songs so whenever he launches in to them in concert I just skip to the next number.
Hey Jude
Eleanor Rigby
Ob La Di Ob La Da
Yesterday
Our Paul list is pretty much the same - Perhaps it's our own fault for watching so many Paul shows.
Video version of All Together Now is good.
There's two songs I don't like, but I will never be tired of listening to ( if that makes sense).
Run For Your Life, and You Can't Do That.
I love both!
My list (also no particular order.)
Come Together (strong agree on that)
Revolution (single version)
All You Need is Love
Hello Goodbye
Blackbird (good but too overrated)
Let It Be (I contend Long And Winding Road is a favorite of mine on the other hand)
Might as well throw in Hey Jude and throw that whole single under the bus (because of course.)
Definitely All Together Now
Get Back (and constant references to it.)
Can't Buy Me Love
There ya go.
It's all personal feeling.
Nice video my friend you are the best take care
You complain about these songs being overplayed yet you're actively searching to listen to them in your subconscious by pursuing Beatles related content. You pick on Paul yet he's the most talented Beatle.
I have always said I feel Paul is the most talented.
Something was my wedding song.
I forgot Lady Madonna!
awesome video joey
Hey Jude is the one Beatles song I am tired of hearing. I don't get the obsession with that song. I'd rather hear Revolution 9 than hear Hey Jude play again on the radio,
There are no songs by The Beatles that I've gotten tired of. There are just a few here and there that I've never liked to begin with. Michelle and Norwegian Wood spring immediately to mind.
I add Yellow Sub and Long Long Long and delete Come Together and Something. Rest I agree!
