I got tired of the tendency of the simulator to randomly delete my work so I gave it up 7 years ago. It seems more stable now but it did vaporise about a weeks work this time round.
I enjoyed this brilliant video and my only grip is why was the train allowed to proceed fro Garton with one gate at the crossing open to motor and foot traffic whilst the gate on the station side was closed. Surely both gates would be closed before the train would be allowed to proceed. Otherwise, it was a great video.
Thanks Andrew ! The M&DR was an archaic railway and at some of the stations the gates were operated by hand and opened AWAY from the railway. It is possible to automate the gates but in many cases I just have them static because I like them to look exactly right. At the time I shot the video I was midway through an experiment with the gates !
Brilliant. Well done
Many thanks John !
You’re alive! It’s good to see you back! 🥰 I enjoyed this video very much too!
