Billy and James Iha are great guitarists, considered among the best in rock. They're both multi skilled and eclectic and change from album to album, which I appreciate. Check out their first big single "Rhinoceros" which is very atmosphere heavy. And the b-side off of Siamese Dream called "La Dolly Vita"..its a mix between folk acoustic and flamenco (almost) and is really sweet to listen to.
Thanks, Sam! Great pick. I love this whole album so much! So many great layering effects. Notably the screamed “yeah!” Mixed with the opening not of the solo on Quiet and the buildup at the end of Rocket. There’s a guy on TH-cam who demonstrates how to get the guitar tones on Siamese Dream using basically the same effects pedals. It’s pretty interesting.
Thank you and appreciate for sequence track order from beginning to end :) Happy Birthday! 'Siamese Dream', turned 30-years old on Thursday. One the single elaborate guitar-driven rock records ever produced during this era. I personally prefer the original UK (1993) album mix Version by Alan Moulder 👍🏼 🔥

"Hummer" - one of the great "night driving on the backroads" songs ever written
Didn't listen to the Pumpkins for years. But love it to listen this album again!
👌
by far their best LP (along with "Mellon Collie...") ; wait 'till you get to "geek U.S.A" and "Soma" ..... killer tracks !!!
Can't wait! I'm especially excited about Soma!
Gish, Siamese Dream, and Mellon Collie are 3 of the best alt rock albums to come out of the '90s.
Glad you went back for this one. It blew my mind when it came out in the 90s. Not a single "filler" track. Onto side 2 of the CD 🙃

This album is a 10/10 to me. Good choice, Sam.
